TWO NIGHTS OF RACING LAST WEEK!!
Summer Series Race 1 Recap
Brody was still sidelined this weekend recovering from his surgery, but that didn’t stop him from showing up to support his brother, friends, and fellow competitors—because that’s just who he is 👊💙
Brextyn – Jr. Honda
With Summer Series using pill draw (no qualifying), Brextyn rolled off 5th for the main.
🏁 Started 5th → WON!
What a drive! He worked his way through the field and charged to the front for the win. So proud of this kid’s determination and racecraft! 🏆🔥
Championship Series Race 6 Recap
Man…this one was HOT—on and off the track 🔥
Brody was officially cleared to race, but woke up not feeling 100%. He made the smart call to take the morning easy, skipping both his LWF and Lt. 160 heats. By the time Sr. Honda rolled around, he felt just good enough to give it a try. It was a full roller coaster day, but one thing never changed—his drive and determination 💪
Brody – LWF
❌ Scratched
This class is physically demanding, and although he practiced the day before, Brody made the tough but smart decision to sit it out until he’s truly 100%.
Brody – Lt. 160
Heat: DNS
Main: Started 10th → 4th
This car has become “the gremlin” 😂 (we think it's fine, but the kid does not) but somehow still found a way. Even not feeling his best, Brody pushed forward for a solid top 5 finish!
Brody – Sr. Honda
Heat: Started 7th → 1st 🏁
Main: Started 1st → 9th (DNF)
Brody took off like a rocket in the heat and never looked back, earning pole for the main. He led laps and had great battles with Little E Racing and Henry Albright Racing before being taken into the turn 2 wall late in the race.
Per our EMT instructions, any wall impact meant he was done for the day—and unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened. He was quickly cleared to go back out there after being evaluated, but with only a few laps left, there wasn’t enough time to repair the car. Heartbreaker, because he was running right where he belonged 💔
Brextyn – Jr. 160
Heat: 5th → 4th
Main: 4th → WIN! 🏆
Heat racing still isn’t his favorite 😅 but he improved a spot and stayed in it. The main was wild—while battling up front, he made slight contact going for a pass on Lawson Restivo Racing (sorry again!), causing a stack-up that somehow everyone kept going through. From there, Brextyn fought back to the front and edged out Lawson at the line in a super close finish!
Brextyn – Jr. Honda
Heat: 3rd → 4th
Main: 8th → 11th (DNF)
Tough day in this class. A couple mistakes in the heat put him deep in the field for the main in a stacked 11-car lineup with new drivers. While working through traffic and lapped cars, a wreck broke out in front of him that he couldn’t avoid—ending in him tipping on his side and damaging the axle, ending his race early.
Not every result went how we wanted, but both boys showed grit, heart, and determination all day—and we are proud of that 💙
We spent Sunday at the track getting everything repaired and ready to get back after it! 🔧🏁

Dixie Shootout Series – Round 4 | Smyrna Quarter Midget Racing Association
This weekend didn’t go quite how we had planned, with Brody sidelined due to emergency appendix surgery—but this team showed what resilience and heart are all about, and we still came away with some strong results and even stronger moments.
Brextyn stepped up in a big way.
He came into the weekend with a mission to do his very best—and he absolutely delivered! For the first time this season, he made both Junior A Mains. Considering how much he’s worked through over the last several months (and is still learning), we couldn’t be more proud of his progress.
Junior Honda
Heat Race: Started 5th, Finished 4th
B Main: Started 1st, Finished 3rd
A Main: Started 9th, Finished 7th
Brextyn ran a solid heat race, but just didn’t have enough laps to move further forward, which put him in the B Main. He led several laps and drove a great race, only getting passed on the final restart—but he held strong and secured a transfer spot into the A Main!
The A Main result may not have been what we know he’s capable of, but what stood out most was his attitude. He came off the track positive, focused, and already thinking ahead about what to improve next time—and that’s a win in itself.
Junior 160
Heat Race: Started 2nd, Finished 5th (DNF)
A Main: Started 10th, Finished 2nd
The heat race didn’t go our way. After contact with a spinning car, we sustained significant front-end damage. While we could’ve made it back out, a miscommunication on laps ended our chance to return before the green—definitely a “you live and learn” moment.
But in the A Main—Brextyn came out flying. 🚀
From 10th to 2nd, he drove an incredible race, charging through the field and chasing down his buddy Bertrand Racing for the lead. He ultimately brought it home in 2nd place. While he was a little disappointed not to grab the win, he knew how big that drive was—and we are beyond proud of him!
Light World
With Brody unable to race, he was given the opportunity Saturday morning—just before surgery—to decide if someone else could drive his Light World car. In a truly selfless act, he chose to let his friend Henry Albright Racing take the wheel.
Henry jumped into a new class and an unfamiliar car with zero practice, and he did an awesome job. While results may not fully show it, he drove hard all weekend and represented the team incredibly well. We couldn’t have asked for a better kid or friend to step in.
Sitting out a major race weekend is tough under any circumstance—but Brody’s willingness to put a friend in his car (his favorite car, at that!) says everything about his character. He’s a true team player who wants to see others succeed just as much as himself.
We’re proud of both of these boys—for their effort, resilience, and heart this weekend. 💙

You can’t keep this kid away from the track!
From an early surgery this morning to have his appendix taken out, to back up the to track where he truly wants to be!
Brody did not want to miss his little brother’s race this afternoon so he asked to come back to the track as soon as he was released from the hospital.
He is doing well and on the road to recovery ❤️
We truly thank everybody for your kind words, warm wishes, and prayers today!

Thoughts, Prayers and good vibes needed ❤️🏁
Never imaged we’d be having to divide and conquer this way, but unfortunately here we are!
Long story short: Brody began not feeling well yesterday morning and progressed into the afternoon/evening - a quick trip to the ER last night has progressed into an ambulance ride to another hospital and an early morning surgery to have his appendix out. He is in good spirits and ready for the pain to go away. We are hoping for a speedy recovery ❤️🩹
Dad and Brextyn are in New Smyrna for Round 4 of the Dixie Shootout Series. He’s ready to take on the day, and wanting to bring home a 🐊 head for his big brother.
We will send updates throughout the day as we get them. Keep the boys in your thoughts 🙏

We couldn’t be more proud of our Bos Racing driver, Brody!
Even though Brody missed 13 days of school during the 2025–2026 school year — all due to traveling and competing in Regional and National racing events — he never let it slow him down in the classroom.
He finished the year with a stellar report card, earning all A’s (4’s on his school’s grading scale)! Not only that, but he also tested at the college and career-ready level on his EOGs!
Balancing school and racing isn’t always easy, but Brody continues to show the same determination off the track as he does on it. We are so proud of the effort he puts into his education, even while chasing his dreams.
The future is bright, and we’re excited to keep cheering him on every step of the way! 🏁📚💪

Our hearts are absolutely broken for the racing community.
Like so many across the racing world, the boys are struggling to process the sudden loss of Kyle Busch. Just days ago, he was doing what he loved—competing, winning, and inspiring the next generation. To see things change so quickly is something that’s hard to even put into words.
Kyle was more than a champion—he was a competitor, a leader, and someone who gave everything he had to this sport every single time he strapped in. His passion, intensity, and love for racing is something every racing family understands at the deepest level.
As a racing family ourselves, this hits incredibly close to home. We know what it takes—the long nights, the sacrifices, the dedication, and the unwavering commitment to the track. It’s not just a sport… it’s a way of life, and it connects all of us.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Samantha, Brexton, Lennix, and the entire Busch family, along with everyone at Richard Childress Racing and across the NASCAR community during this unimaginable time.
Gone far too soon, but never forgotten.
🏁 Rest easy, Rowdy.
