Issue #7 of Bearcat Tracks is here!

Buffalo was a BIG day for our crew, with every Bearcat who raced bringing home a medal! This week we’re also talking about what success really means within our program and introducing our newest Runner of the Week, senior Lily Lopez.

Next stop, Laverne. Another week to keep building, on and off the course.

What a morning in Buffalo!

Every single Mooreland runner came home with a medal today. Every. Single. One. All that hard work is paying off, and it was pretty special to see this crew rewarded for the work they’ve been putting in.

We are also incredibly thankful and appreciative of our XC community. Our families, supporters, and everyone who continues to show up for these kids make this program what it is. It takes a village, and we have a pretty great one.

Side note: the team photo was taken while they were standing in line for a very well-earned snow cone. Priorities. Proud of this crew!

Sweetwater gave us plenty to be excited about, with strong races, several new PRs and another reminder of what makes cross country kids a little different. We’re also introducing our newest Runner of the Week, Marshall Mabra!

Home Meet Week gave us a little bit of everything: Spirit Week shenanigans, plenty of time together, some really tough racing and a whole lot of reasons to be proud of this crew. We’re also introducing our newest Runner of the Week and giving a huge thank you to everyone who helped make our home meet such a great day!

HOME MEET DAY!

There’s just something special about waking up on race morning and knowing this one is ours.

The course is marked, the flags are flying, and our crew is ready to race on the course they know better than anyone. After a full week of spirit, laughs, and preparation, it’s finally time to put the fun aside and go compete.

We’d love to see a big hometown crowd lining the course and cheering these kids on. Come spend your Saturday morning with Mooreland XC!
