🔥 This momentum is real.

Stop #4 of the Paddle South Tour at the Ambush Feature did not disappoint.

We had great weather, awesome water levels, and once again an incredible turnout from athletes across the region. The consistency of this tour has been unreal, and it’s all because of the community continuing to show up and throw down.

The athletes delivered a top-level performance, with big rides and clean moves, and huge smiles as they keep pushing the level higher than ever.

And beyond the competition, it’s the energy on the banks, the support, and the shared stoke that’s making this tour something special.

Week after week, event after event… this tour continues to build.

Paddle South is here — and it’s thriving. 🌊

➡️ Next up: Good Wave in Columbus, GA — our final stop, where we’ll crown the Paddle South Series Champions. 👑

Need help registering? On-site registration will take place at Whitewater Express in Columbus, Georgia, on Thursday from 2–4 PM.

The competition will be a full-day event on Saturday, April 4, starting at 9 AM, with prelims and finals for all divisions.
A mandatory athlete check-in and meeting will be held Saturday morning at 8:30 AM sharp at the Ambush put-in.
An awards party will follow the competition on Saturday evening—more details to come.

Location:
Ambush is located at the put-in (North Highlands Dam). It’s known as a great wave-hole feature where paddlers can throw both wave tricks like blunts and aircrews, as well as hole tricks like loops and McNastys. It was a favorite among athletes during the 2022 ICF Freestyle World Cups.

This tour just keeps getting better.
💦 🤘🔥

Stop #3 of the Paddle South Tour at Montgomery Whitewater Park brought another unreal weekend of freestyle kayaking.

Paddlers showed up ready to throw down — and they did. Huge rides, big scores, and paddlers throwing ends everywhere you looked. The progression right now is next level.

From the Pro classes putting on a show, to the cadets stepping up and pushing the future, and the masters reminding us all why we love this sport… the energy all weekend was unreal.

Great competition. Strong community vibes. Exactly what this tour is all about.

At this point it’s clear — the Paddle South Tour is something special, and it’s only getting better with every stop.

Thank you to everyone who continues to show up, compete, support, and build this community.

➡️ Next stop: Columbus, GA
The Amush Feature on the Chattahoochee River this Saturday.
