Aquarius Dive Shop As a full service dive shop, we offer competitive pricing and carry the premier equipment brands in the dive industry.

We are a PADI 5-Star training facility, and our SCUBA courses are taught by experienced staff. Aquarius Dive Shop has been in continuous operation since 1970. We are proud to have been approved as a PADI 5-Star Instructor Development Center and offer recreational dive training at all levels from beginning Open Water through PADI IDC Staff Instructor, including Specialty Instructor and EFR Instructor. We are committed to provide thorough, safe, and enjoyable dive training which is in full compliance with all PADI training standards. We are the only PADI dive center in Monterey with a full-time Course Director on staff. We offer a complete line of top-quality equipment for sale, provide factory-authorized service on everything we sell, and have a well-stocked inventory of rental equipment. We provide hyper-clean air for ALL air fills (at no extra charge) and have banked EANx32 available for while-you-wait fills. We can do custom Nitrox blends at up to 50%, provided you supply an oxygen-cleaned cylinder. We frequently take certified divers who are new to the area on guided tours to introduce them to the beauty of the kelp forests and acquaint them with safety considerations which are unique to shore diving in the Monterey area.

What an amazing night of learning, conversation, and community! We’re so grateful to everyone who came out and made the evening so special.
A huge thank you to Nathan Perisic for an incredible presentation and sharing your knowledge with us, Laurel Browning for the sweet treats, and of course, our amazing dive community for showing up and making nights like this possible!

Monterey Bay by day is incredible. Monterey Bay at night is something else entirely. 

As the sun disappears, the kelp forests transform into a whole new world. Octopus begin to roam, nudibranchs glow beneath your dive light, seals come out to hunt and countless other creatures reveal themselves in ways you may never see during the day.

This Sunday, August 16th Aquarius is firing up the grill for all our Dive Club Members! Join us back at the Aquarius Dive Shop around noon after your dives for our Hot Dog Bar and snacks in the parking lot. Grab a bite, swap dive stories, and enjoy great food with even better company. We can’t wait to see everyone there!

Have a dive buddy who hasn’t joined the club yet? Bring them along! Guests are always welcome to join us for the day for just $30, or they can become an official part of the club with an annual membership for only $55.
