With merchandise coming soon and a new logo! Wilkinson family Racing started when a man named Mike Wilkinson helped a friend build and crew a figure eight car... The following year Mike built his own racecar and thus when Wilkinson Family Racing was set in stone. Mike started out racing Figure Eight's with a Club in the Pacific Northwest called F.E.A.R (Figure Eight Auto Racing) in 1973. He won Rookie of the Year placing 10th. In 1981 Mike decided to try his hand at racing Mini Hydroplanes on various lakes in Washington State. But the "X" Kept calling his name, He went back to racing Figure Eights full time. Over the years he raised 3 kids as "track brats" , its no surprise all 3 kids have the passion for racing running through their veins. As of Today Wilkinson Family racing consists of his Son, Doug, Daughter Jess, Daughter In Law Kimmi, Granddaughter Haylie, and Grandson Dakota. and Behind the scenes is Linda and Daughter Rachael. Doug Also secured Rookie of the year in 1998 placing 9th, beating Mike out by 1 position. Doug and Jess both have received countless awards, 100% attendance, Most Improved, Sportsman, among others. This team has amazing talent whose over come so much in the racing world. Figure Eight's are not the only types of racing this family has poured blood sweat and tears in. They've also raced Super Late Models, Street stocks, Demolition Derby, NW Pro 4 Truck Tour, Go Karts, and Quarter Midgets. In June of 2013, Wilkinson Family Racing endured a world shattering loss... Mike suddenly Passed away.... With knowing Mike would want racing to continue the family did just that. In his honor Doug, Jess, Haylie, and crew worked long hours getting every car Mike helped with in our shop painted, running and numbers changed. Doug would pull his #53's off of his Super Late Model, and Super Figure Right car, Jess pulled her #0 Off of her Stock Figure Eight, and they were rightly replaced with Mike's beautiful 55 numbers which stayed for the remainder of the 2013 season. Dad always believed in three things in racing... Safety... The car always had to look gorgeous the first day out, and FANS!!! Fan's are what made this sport what it is today, and why we're still able to race weekly 6 months out of the year! Without Fans, We'd have nothing. This Page will be used to update fans and the racing community of racing events, stats and Photos. And as all race teams, we ARE looking for sponsors for the 2022 race season!!!

But way to go Kode for keeping the team on the podium with a 3rd place finish. These big races are really hard to finish let alone podium!! The WFR team is so proud of you Dakota #9! We would like to give a huge thank you to all that have helped out this season. And now to get Doug #53 car fixed and ready for the 3 hour Figure 8 championship in Indianapolis. With that said we are looking for those who would like to join the team and help Doug get to Indy! If anyone is interested please reach out to any of the family members!
