PCM High School Student Government

For the 3rd year in a row a few members of PCM High School Student Government volunteered at the Jasper County Museum helping to decorate for their 2025 Tree-Mendous Christmas Experience!

What it is: An annual holiday event with over 200 decorated trees on display throughout the museum.
Where: Jasper County Historical Museum, 1700 S. 15th Ave. W., Newton, IA.
When: Saturdays in December (1:00 PM – 8:00 PM), Sundays in December (1:00 PM – 4:00 PM), and Christmas Day (1:00 PM – 4:00 PM).
Cost: Free-will donation.
Other details: Group tours are available upon request. The event is a festive outing for all ages!

On Friday a few members of PCM High School Student Government volunteered at the Jasper County Museum decorating two trees for their 2024 Tree-Mendous Christmas Experience!

Make sure to go check out this awesome event:
- Same venue, new look each year
- Over 200 decorated trees throughout the museum
​- Every Saturday and Sunday from Nov. 30 - Dec. 29
- Saturday: 1pm-8pm
- Sunday: 1pm - 4pm
- Open Dec. 25 from 1pm - 4pm

The PCM High School Student Government manages the Care Closet. This is a cabinet full of personal care items to be used by the high school students if and when needed. We've created a list of items that are needing replenished for this year. We've created an Amazon list for those that would like to help out. You can choose to have the items shipped directly to our sponsor at the high school.

Don't miss the opportunity to have your driveway painted just in time for Homecoming!

Student Government will be painting driveways in Monroe on Sunday, Sept 15th and in Prairie City on Sunday, Sept 22nd.

You do need to sign up in advance. Email [email protected] with your address, phone number and choice of paint color (red or yellow).
