Played HS division last two weeks to see where we’re headed. Last weekend #1 seed into bracket play and we made a little noise. But didn’t make it as far as we would have liked.
This weekend same deal, #1 seed headed into bracket. Semi final we were down way more than we’d ever like to be when time expired (5 runs 😮💨). Girls had to dig down and make it happen. Scored two runs, loaded the bases and our girl RILYNN stepped in the box down by three. She decided that the game was on her shoulders and walked it off over the fence grand slam to send us to the championship! Pretty awesome moment!!
Championship game we made some plays, hit decent but lost 4-6. Runner up second week of playing HS ball and we all have at least another year of 14u eligibility left says a lot for the level these girls are playing.
Special shoutout to my dude and coaching great Coach Scott Hanger from our sister LLG team for rolling with us this weekend! Fun to have good times like these together!
Excited for the continued growth and opportunities ahead for all these girls! On to the next one…
