In Loving Memory of Coach Glenn Davis 🏀💙💛
For 61 years, Coach Davis poured his heart, knowledge, and love of basketball into the Modesto community. He was more than a coach, he was a mentor, a friend, and truly a basketball Bible.
We were blessed to have Coach Davis as a Lady Jag Varsity Assistant from 2016-2017 but his impact on our program goes much deeper. He once coached Varsity Coach Reese at MJC for two years, helping shape her love and knowledge of the game, and then passed that same passion onto Varsity Assistant Coach Jaleena.
That was Coach Davis, his influence carried from one generation to the next. His lessons didn’t end when the season did. They live on through the players and coaches he poured into for more than six decades.
The Lady Jags and the entire basketball community have lost a special one.
Thank you, Coach Davis, for the wisdom, mentorship, memories, and your lifelong love of the game.
Rest easy, Coach. Your impact will echo in gyms for generations. 🏀
