Japan in winter hits different. 🇯🇵❄️

Join Red River Adventures for 6 days of skiing and riding through Hokkaido, chasing the best snow and letting the conditions shape each day. From Otaru to Asahikawa, we’ll move through a mix of resorts, sidecountry, and backcountry terrain with IFMGA guides, RRA owner Carl Dec and local Japanese ski professionals.

When we’re not skiing, there’s plenty more to take in the mountain views, incredible food, local culture, and time to experience Japan beyond the snow. We take care of the logistics, transportation, lodging, and guiding so you can focus on the trip.

Take your climbing beyond a single pitch and into the Wasatch with Red River Adventures.

Our multi-pitch climbing days are built around your goals. Climb a route you’ve had your eye on, learn the skills to move confidently through multi-pitch terrain, or simply spend the day climbing higher.

Choose from classic routes ranging from 200 to 800 feet in Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons and Rock Canyon, with objectives tailored to your experience and the conditions.

Want to learn new tools and techniques? Our guides are some of the best in business and love to share what they know.

Just want to climb? We’ll handle the technical systems while you focus on the rock.

With AMGA-trained and certified guides on staff and all technical gear provided, you just need to show up ready to climb.

Fall is off to a strong start, and Off-Width Camp was as fun and brutal as ever!
Off-Width Camp is about more than stuffing yourself into cracks and hoping for the best.
Led by Mary Catherine Eden, our three-day camp is all about dialing in technique, tackling climbs that feel way harder than they should, getting a little beat up, and learning a ton along the way.
But a huge part of what makes camp special is the people. Good climbing, good laughs, hard days, and a crew that’s just as stoked to be there as you are.
Hard climbs, tired bodies, and a pretty damn good community.
