MVA is a non-partisan organization that advocates for freedom, security and prosperity with Montana Veterans for Montana Veterans. 🇺🇸🦅

We are joining forces together with our allies for better and stronger Montana communities. We focus our social welfare work and our funding to programs that fall within one of our focus areas:

Team MVA had a lot of fun at our GOTV Postcard Vet2gether Pizza parties where we came together in Missoula, Billings and Hamilton to encourage one another to express community support for our military through their vote.

This is in partnership with America First Warfighters. Through handwritten postcards, Montana veterans, active duty service members and their families can reach out with positive and personal messages that encourage non partisan GOTV participation in upcoming elections.

Today, on National POW/MIA Recognition Day, we honor the Americans who survived captivity and those who never returned home. We remember their sacrifice, and reaffirm our Nation’s promise: You are not forgotten.

Montana has 461 total missing since WWII (417 WWII, 27 Korea, 16 Vietnam, 1 Cold War). The number moves as identifications are made. 80,000 Americans are still missing in action. We honor and encourage their families today.

Thank you to all Montana Military and Veterans that have swore an oath to defend the US Constitution. Today, September 17th is officially Constitution day which celebrates the signing of the U.S. Constitution on this day in 1787 and recognizes all who have become U.S. citizens. It is also known as Constitution and Citizenship Day. 39 delegates signed the final draft of the Constitution at the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia.

Since 2004, a federal law requires all educational institutions that receive federal funding to provide an educational program on the U.S. Constitution on September 17.
The modern holiday evolved from an earlier observance called "I Am an American Day," first recognized by Congress in 1940.

This day was renamed Citizenship Day in 1952 before being expanded to include Constitution Day in 2004. The holiday also marks the start of Constitution Week, which runs from September 17 to September 23.

We advocate for reading the Constitution and the Bill of Rights to better understand the framework of the government and the rights guaranteed to citizens.

On this 25th Anniversary of 9/11 we salute every Montanan that served in Iraq and Afghanistan for 2 decades of war post 9/11.

Thank you to all our Heroic American Military, Firefighters, First Responders, LEO, Veterans and those that run towards danger to SAVE lives.

2,977 lives were taken 25 years ago today.

Five years ago today, 13 American service members were killed at Abbey Gate in Afghanistan during a very challenging withdrawal policy. It was one of the darkest days in the history of our country and it happened because of weak American leadership.

May we never again have weak leadership for our heroic military.

We will NEVER FORGET these heroes. Honor. Remember. Encourage.

The Iraq Vet told his Vietnam Marine dad his legs were sore after a long hike up the Bitterroot Mountains and trek back to the truck.

Dad looked at him and said:
“Son, I once rucked 12 miles with 70 pounds on my back while getting shot at…and I didn’t even have an Apple Watch telling me I ‘earned’ a rest day. Suck it up buttercup Let’s Go!”

Grandpa who served in Korea chuckles and says “Thats ok boys in my day it was a full field transport pack with a real E-tool, leggings. And my Garand 8 shot was 5 pounds heavier while we walked up hill both ways in muck in a blizzard!”
