And if you have a dancer ages 3–10 looking for a place to dance this fall, we still have some openings in our non-audition classes!

Every September, we welcome dancers who are taking their very first class alongside students who have grown up at Ballare Teatro. It’s one of our favorite times of the year.

At Ballare Teatro, we believe dance is about so much more than learning steps. It’s about building confidence, making friendships, discovering creativity, and finding a place where every dancer is encouraged to grow.

Our 2026–2027 season begins Tuesday, September 8, and several classes are already full. If you’ve been thinking about joining us this year, we’d encourage you to register soon so you have the best selection of classes.

Open Houses start TODAY!

Whether you’re brand new to dance or returning for another season, we’d love to welcome you to Ballare Teatro!

Join us to tour the studio, meet our incredible staff, purchase dance attire, and register for classes. It’s the perfect opportunity to ask questions, get to know our community, and find the right class for your dancer.

FOUR of the artists named 2026 McKnight Fellows have created work for Ballare Teatro dancers!

We are incredibly proud to celebrate our Ballare Teatro Repertory choreographers who have been recognized with one of Minnesota’s most prestigious honors for dance artists.

The McKnight Fellowships recognize Minnesota-based dance artists whose work demonstrates a sustained commitment to artistic excellence.

At Ballare Teatro, we believe our dancers grow by working with extraordinary artists who are actively shaping the future of dance. This recognition is a beautiful reminder of the caliber of choreographers who invest their time, creativity, and hearts into our students.

Three of these newly named Fellows created works featured in our 2026 Repertory Showcase, while Gemma Isaacson’s remarkable work was featured in our 2024 Repertory Showcase. We are profoundly grateful that our dancers have had the privilege of bringing their artistic visions to life.

To Gemma, Davente, Lisa, and Joe, thank you for trusting our dancers with your work, for challenging them to grow as artists, and for sharing your creativity so generously. Congratulations on this incredibly well-deserved honor. We are honored to celebrate alongside you.
