A few of our Starwhals skaters had the opportunity to attend Frost camp this week, and had a great time! We're so happy to share a city with strong, inspiring hockey players π

America250, the nonpartisan congressional commission planning the nationβs landmark 250th anniversary, has officially launched , the historic initiative aiming to permanently transform Independence Day into a new national tradition of generosity and shared community impact.
HELP US MAKE OUR GOAL OF RAISING $500!
Generosity is already woven into the American experience. Giving 4th makes those acts visible and invites Americans to participate in a shared national moment of generosity.
βBy supporting nonprofits during a critical time of year, we can strengthen our communities and ensure the spirit of generosity remains a lasting part of Americaβs legacy for generations to come.β --Rosie Rios, Chair of America250 and former Treasurer of the United States

The 4th in The Park parade is the only Fourth of July parade in St. Paul and one of the longest running parades in Minnesota.
The parade kicks off at 11am, and there are lots of activities in Langford Park after.
Starwhals families - if you want to join us in the parade (walking or rollerblading), meet us at 10:30am on Luther Place near St. Anthony Park Church. Players, former-players, parents, and siblings are welcome to join. Wear you Starwhals gear!

Last week, a cohort of our 10U and 12U teams got to skate during the first intermission at the Game 3 of the Minnesota Frost vs. Montreal Victoire series.
Girls hockey is currently one of the fast growing youth sports, thanks in part to incredible examples like the Frost. We're so glad to have such fantastic role models and opportunities for our skaters right in our own backyard!
