Smoke, heat, rain and a breakdown of leadership has lead to no games played for the past 2 years. If there are people willing to play, organize and step up to improve pétanque in Minneapolis let us know and we can make this happen. Look for new places to play, gravel with good drainage is best, (you can play on it when wet), tree coverage for heat, bathroom access and parking are essential. Even a bar or brewery with space and approval would work. We need feet on the ground looking for an ideal relocation. Please suggest your finds/ideas in the comments. Also anyone willing to organize, rally and help keep MPC up and running again, feel free to speak up. Let’s keep this sport alive in Minnesota and connect with the rest of the clubs in the US and worldwide. Our balls are rusty, let’s clean them up and make this happen.
