Rowing 1 trains arm movement from your back and core.

It’s easy to cheat in this seemingly simple exercise. Keep your back still and tall, using your core and back to move the arms and carriage. As the arms lift, avoid letting your upper traps creep up—keep your neck soft.

I like one high blue or one red spring here (Balanced Body Reformer).

Swan for back extension 🦢
Focus on extending through your upper and mid back rather than dumping into your low back.

Initiate by drawing your shoulder blades down away from your ears toward your back pockets—think flat, not pinched together. Maintain that connection as you peel up into extension and close the carriage.

Gently press your p***c bone into the mat to support and protect your low back. Remember: if your back moves, your carriage should move too.

I like one high red spring, or one red + one yellow (Balanced Body reformer).

Lauren first came in with hip pain. Strength, posture, and feeling better in her body kept her coming back. Grateful to do this work and for students who trust the process! 🌟
