Hello cyclists!!! It’s probably been a long summer of riding (or at least so we hope) and because of that we got a little inspiration to put together a FREE hip mobility guide for cyclists.
Your hips spend a lot of time in the same position on the bike. And tight hips can affect how you move, how comfortable you feel, and how well you actually use the strength you’ve built.
It’s not even necessarily about getting more hip motion. It’s about owning the motion you already have access to.
🐛Can you bring your leg toward you without your pelvis tipping, rotating, or your low back taking over??
That ability to separate hip movement from pelvic movement matters on the bike, where you’re repeatedly moving one leg while maintaining a stable platform for force production.

Strength training isn’t taking time away from your cycling! It’s making every hour you spend on the bike more effective.
Think of it this way: your aerobic fitness is the engine, but your muscles are the drivetrain. You can have a powerful engine, but if the drivetrain can’t efficiently transfer that power to the road, you’re leaving performance on the table.
Simply chasing more watts isn’t always the answer.
Many cyclists hit a plateau and assume they need another interval session or another hard ride. Sometimes they do!
But sometimes what they’re really missing is the ability to produce more force with every pedal stroke.
We have a new 12-Week Strength Builder for Cyclists that might just be your secret sauce ;)

🚨EXCITING NEWS!!!!🚨
We built a brand new 12-Week Strength Builder for Cyclists. We felt INSPIRED and maybe too inspired because we spent a lot of time on it 🙈(hehe)
Here’s how the 12 weeks break down:
👉Weeks 1–4: Foundation. Movement quality, hip stability, single-leg control. We build the base everything else sits on.
👉Weeks 5–8: Build. Load goes up on the key lifts. Your capacity starts to show.
👉Weeks 9–12: Strength. Peak phase. This is where it translates directly to power on the bike.
Expect a smart, structured approach:
✔️ Science-backed plan that starts by building a solid foundation
✔️ 2–3 full-body strength sessions per week to develop control, resilience, and on-bike power
✔️ 1 mobility-focused session weekly to improve movement quality and help with recovery
✔️ All exercises include guided video demos and descriptions you can follow from wherever you train.
We also have a FREE 2 week sample training plan if you just want to get a feel for our coaching style before you jump into it.

One of the biggest contributors to cardiac drift isn’t fitness.
⛽️It’s fueling.
“Why is my heart rate so high today?”…When glycogen starts running low, your heart rate often starts climbing while your power stays the same (or drops). Suddenly that endurance pace feels very suspicious.
Your body isn’t trying to be dramatic. It’s just asking for carbs.
So here’s your reminder:
🍌 Eat before you’re hungry
🍬 Fuel before you’re tired
🚴 Treat carbs like part of the workout because they are
Your aerobic engine can only do so much if you forgot to put gas in the tank.
Your Garmin can’t power your legs. Only carbs can do that.
What’s your favorite mid-ride snack?

Everyone wants a bigger FTP.
Nobody wants to hear that the answer might be riding easier. 😅
Cardiac drift (aka decoupling) is one of the best indicators of your aerobic fitness.
🫀If your heart rate keeps climbing while your power stays the same, your body is basically sending you a little message: “hey... we’re working harder than we should be right now.”🌶️
The good news? That’s trainable.
Build the foundation. Ride your endurance rides like endurance rides. Eat your carbs.
Training isn’t always about going harder. Sometimes it’s about getting better at the boring stuff.
