STRUCTURE FIRE IN PROGRESS AT FIRE ISLAND PINES as of 2 p.m. today. One house was reported as a total loss at the intersection of Beach Hill Walk and the oceanfront. Multiple firefighter units are responding to assist FIPFD, including Cherry Grove, Davis Park, Fair Harbor, and Sayville. The situation is in development. Stay tuned for further coverage. Our comes from The Parish of Saint Patrick in Bay Shore, as they assembled at St. Patrick’s Cemetery for an open-air Mass to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks.
Father Tom Poth presided, assisted by Deacons Joe, Frank, and Greg. The late Father Jack Nosser dedicated the Mother Mary statue in 2001.
Recently, St. Patrick's unveiled a memorial garden on the west side of the church where all may sit and reflect. ✝️
