ways searching for volunteer coaches! There are 8 outdoor games per season, generally played on weekends. Practice times are at the volunteer coaches discretion. Four home games are played at Jackson Park, and four "away" games are played at the opponent's field. At the younger ages opponents are frequently other Southern Milwaukee teams, or from neighboring community, so travel is minimal. Fall season practices start usually by the third week in August, first games are the weekend after Labor Day, and usually complete by end of October. Spring season practices start usually by the second or third week of April, or as the snow melts and the grass dries up. Games are played from mid-April through the second weekend in June. No games Memorial Day weekend. There is no "Fall only" option, but there is a "Spring only" option which opens for registration over the winter for those who missed registration over the previous summer.
