Celebrated the Summer Solstice with a retreat filled with joy, ease, amazing food and so much laughter 🌞♥️

Nine weeks ago, I closed a chapter in my life. I stepped back from pouring so much energy into cultivating a yoga community. This brought me great joy for four years. I’m incredibly grateful for the hundreds of students that I got to learn from and grow alongside of.

Through much reflection, I realized I was slowly burning myself out through work that meant a lot to me but was not sustainable long-term.

With bittersweet emotions, I transitioned to prioritizing my efforts toward private client work. Working 1:1 with clients and in small groups 2-4 people has been so transformative.

The depth we are able to get to in even one session has blown me away. I feel so aligned with where I’m supposed to be in this stage of life and for that I am incredibly grateful 🙏🏽

I am so incredibly grateful for the way the q***r community has supported me this past decade in cultivating my confidence in who I am and how I show up for others.

We laughed. We cried. We sang. We hiked. We sweat. We ate amazing food. We grounded. We reconnected with our inner joy!

Above all, we held space for each other as we all were moving through big life transitions, seasons of grief and burnout.

Spending four days with this group brought me more peace + hope that I could have imagined.

Retreats are truly a special container for connection and deep reflection. Incredibly grateful for the opportunity to do this work.

Words can’t describe how lucky I feel to have these two amazing humans in my life.

Being able to curate sacred containers for connection, healing and growth with them feels like such a privilege.

It is a special feeling to be in awe of your friends. Watching them intentionally hold space for others and themselves at our retreat this weekend was so inspiring.

My heart is full and joyful. Exactly what I needed during a season of grief 🙏🏽
