Presenting our Unbroken Rehab and Athletics Impact Players for Chicago Rugby Club @ Pigfest 10s Rugby Tournament - Kara, Hannah, and Muriel 💪

Kara made herself an absolute menace on both sides of the ball with plenty of big carries and huge tackles 💥 Hannah at scrummie snagged a few tries of her own while also leading the pace of the day to keep our offense moving and applying pressure on defense 🫡 Muriel provided a solid foundation for our open field defense and also led the team in tries 🤩 all three were huge contributors in bringing the squad to a 3rd place finish this Pigfest 10s 🐷

Rugby was played 🏉 beers were drank 🍺 and pigs were won this weekend at Pigfest 10s Rugby Tournament 🐷

The squad went 3-0 in pool play matching up with UW Rugby, Goat Vipers, and Oconomowoc Griffins 💪 a tough semifinals loss to RMRU Unselects brought us back to the Griffins for an ultimately victorious 3rd place boat race showdown 🍻

If you want in on the last bit of summer rugby fun come on out to Columbus Park this Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30-9pm and join us as we prepare to head up to Madison, WI for Memorial 10s on 08/01 🦄🐮🥛

Due to a member of coaching staff spouting nonsense much of the squad is under the impression that you win pigs at 🐷Pigfest 10s Rugby Tournament🐷

We could set the record straight but instead just wanna say LET’S GET OUT THERE AND WIN SOME PIGS Y’ALL 🦄🏉🥛

The weather was beautiful, the games were running on time, and it was a heck of a day on the Milwaukee lakefront this past weekend at Lakefront 7s Rugby Tournament!

The squad went 2-1 in pool play to move on to seminfinals where we unfortunately fell short of a W, ending the day 2-2. Losses were to the ultimate 1st and 2nd place teams - Hamilton Alumni and Lady Panthers - so we’re just gonna call it a 3rd place finish 😂

Practice is off this Thursday (dodging 🧨stray fireworks🧨 is not our preferred training method) but you can catch us next Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30-9pm out at Columbus Park as we switch it into 10s mode to prepare for Pigfest 10s Rugby Tournament on 07/18 🐷
