Cream City Cycle Club

Saturday - August 22, 2026 - Northeast Waukesha County - 22 and 45 miles. These routes began at the Elm Grove Village Park and worked there way along local roads into and around Waukesha County. The long route includes the Mill Road hill, which we affectionately call "The Wall". It is a 12.3 percent climb for a quarter of a mile and is not for the faint of heart. In preparation for this ride, I drove the short to see if there was anything we needed to be aware of. I'm glad I did because there were 2 areas of road construction common to both routes that had to be navigated around. That's the lesson of the day - check your route!

Wednesday, August 19, 2026 - Jackson Ho!/Coffeeville Company Lunch/32 miles. Today's ride started at the Coffeeville Company in Jackson. We rode the roads of Washington county. We returned for a delicious lunch at the Coffeeville Company. It was a gorgeous day for a ride. Thanks to Judy Nast for leading this ride.

Let's not forget the Member's Coice - Bakery Ride held on August 8th. Rides originated at the Poineer Park and Ride (55-miles) and The Daily Company (36-miles). The ultimate destination was the Oostburg bakery. After a few outstanding treats, we headed back to the starting points. Thanks to Mark Sandler and Dan Neesley for leading this ride.

Life Behind Bars - Sunday August 9, 2026 - Cream City Cycle Club, Bay View Bike Club and Spring City Spinners Bicycle Club 2026 Coalition Picnic at Valley View Park in New Berlin, WI.

What a day!! Of course, we all knew that at some point today there was going to be a pretty intense thunderstorm, sometime around mid-day. One would think that EVERYONE WOULD STAY AT HOME - but not THESE BICYCLISTS - they are the REAL THING!!

Tough, ready to bike in spite of the weather forecast AND they are not afraid. They biked, they returned, some even experienced some rain on the way back to the Park, and STILL THEY STAYED for LUNCH!!

NOT ONLY THAT - EVEN when the storm reared it's UGLY HEAD and started blowing the wind and rain DIRECTLY INTO the COALITION PICNIC SHELTER, they STAYED!!

I am SO GLAD that we were able to bike, cook, eat, GET SOAKING WET, LAUGH and leave with SMILES on our FACES because it was a GREAT Day!!

Thanks to EVERYONE for biking, bringing DELICIOUS FOOD, Cooking, Setting Up, Cleaning up, and socializing and smiling when you left. IT was SUCH a GREAT DAY!!!

What an absolutely beautiful day we had for this amazing very rural route. Sun was shining, not a cloud in the sky, cranes were in the fields and we even saw a model car...

Life Behind Bars - Saturday June 20, 2026 - 22 and 53 miles - Kletzsch Park to Mequon (22) or Cedarburg (53). What a beautiful day!! Sure, it was a little breezy, but the temps were perfect for this great gathering of like-minded cyclists. Here are a few photos that I took along the way.

Here’s our visit to the Ogdensburg Bank on the Hartmann Creek camping weekend. Then it was up to Iola Crystal Cafe for pie alamode. Great ride!
