Calling all circus, aerial, pole, flow, drag, theater, pinup, and other performers!

We’ve all acquired pieces that were JUST RIGHT for that one act, only to be shoved to the back of our closet and forgotten for years. Here’s your chance to pass those items on to a new, loving home and possibly take home something new that catches your eye!

Costumes, accessories, and props are all welcome!

Saturday, August 8 from 3PM-6PM at Cirque MKE

A frequent question for new aerial students is "what should I wear?"

Generally, you want to wear fitted clothing with stretch. Things like:
-T-shirts
-Tank tops
-Leggings
-Leotards
-Body suits

Loose/flowy clothing can be worn, but excess fabric can be caught in or wrapped around the equipment in many moves, so it's best to practice in fitted clothing until you have a strong understanding of moving around your apparatus.

Certain moves can also be hard on the skin when first learning, so a lot of people like to wear or bring extra layers. Spots to plan to cover include: knee pits, arm pits, elbow pits, and waist/torso.

Avoid wearing:
-Jewelry (aside from small/stud earrings)
-Watches
-Fitness trackers
-Zippers
-Buttons
-Snaps
-Sequins
-Studs
And other hard/sharp embellishments and accessories

Jewelry and clothing embellishments can snag your skin and/or the equipment, causing injuries or damage to the equipment that makes it unsafe to use. We ask that you leave these things at home or remove them before class for your safety.

What are your favorite things to wear to class? Let us know in the comments! ⬇️
