ORGANIZATION SPOTLIGHT: NATIVITY JESUIT ACADEMY

We’re excited to highlight Nativity Jesuit Academy as part of the 2026 Black & Brown Run Around 5K!

Nativity Jesuit Academy is a Milwaukee K4–8 Catholic, Jesuit school dedicated to preparing young people, in partnership with their families, for lives of leadership, service, justice, and academic excellence.

Their holistic approach goes beyond the classroom, creating opportunities for students to grow academically, personally, spiritually, and through athletics and extracurricular activities.

We had such a great time at the Back to School Jam with Casita Prado and Fates Aligned Tattoo . It was so much fun seeing so many kids and families come out, connect with the community, and get ready for another school year, no matter what the weather had in store!

We loved being out there, sharing information about the Black & Brown Run Around 5K, and most importantly, spending time with the families who make our community so special. 🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏾‍♂️

We’re looking forward to continuing to table at community events, meet our neighbors, support local organizations, and give back however we can.

We’re excited to welcome Brillantes MKE to the Black & Brown Run Around 5K

Brillantes MKE is a Milwaukee-based soccer community dedicated to creating equitable opportunities for young Latinas and girls in sports through soccer, mentorship, wellness, and pathways to higher levels of play. Their mission is all about breaking down barriers and helping girls feel confident, supported, and empowered both on and off the field.

And they’re bringing the FUN to race day!
