The Popes are starting off September STRONG! Our football team is off to a 2–0 start following a 42–0 victory over Howards Grove on Friday night! Because of his outstanding performance on Friday, Sophomore Kejuan Greene has been nominated for the Milwaukee Journel Sentinel's High School "Athlete of the Week!"

From the Journal Sentinel: Pius clobbered Howards Grove in Week 2 action with a 42-0 shutout and the sophomore running back had himself quite a night on just nine carries. In those nine carries, Greene ran for 223 yards and four touchdowns in the win. That's a 24.8 yards per carry average, including a longest run of 70 yards for the Popes.
