🚨 TWO REC TEAMS STILL NEED A COACH! 🚨

Practices begin this week, and we still need volunteer coaches for:

⚽ U12 Girls
⚽ U14 Coed

These players are registered, excited, and ready to get on the field—they just need someone willing to step up and lead them!

No coaching experience is required. Whether you’re a parent, former player, high school player, or simply someone who wants to make a difference, we would love to have you.

If you can help give one of these teams the season they’re waiting for, please reach out to us as soon as possible! 💙💚 We are thrilled to have a high volume of players registered, but that also means we need more volunteers willing to step up! Thank you in advance for helping us get every team on the field this season!!!

IMPORTANT REC ROSTER REMINDER ⚽

Our staff is currently receiving an extremely high volume of Facebook messages, emails, and individual placement requests as teams are being finalized.

Please remember that coach, team, and teammate requests are considered but are never guaranteed—regardless of age group. With the sheer number of registrations and special requests received this season, we simply cannot honor them all.

At this stage, repeatedly messaging or emailing the club—or contacting multiple staff members about the same request—will not change a player’s placement. Duplicate messages also make it more difficult for our small team to respond to families who need assistance with time-sensitive registration matters.

We have worked hard to accommodate requests wherever possible, but rosters must ultimately be created based on the needs of the entire program.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we finalize teams and prepare for the season!

With our current goalkeeper joining the inaugural FC Bayern Residential Academy, an opportunity has opened for a competitive goalkeeper to join our highly competitive U16 Boys team.

We’re looking for a dedicated keeper who is ready to train, compete, take on the challenge, and become part of the Sporting West Florida family.

REC COACH UPDATE! ⚽📣

Okayyyy, y’all have been showing up 🙌 We’ve made some serious progress since our last post, but we’re not quite there yet!

We’re down to just 12 head coaches needed to get these teams covered for the fall season:

COACHES STILL NEEDED:

U6 — 3
U8 Boys — 2
U10 Boys — 1 👀
U12 Girls — 2
U12 Boys — 2
U14 Coed — 2

That’s it. TWELVE PEOPLE. Somewhere out there are 12 parents, grandparents, siblings, former players, or brave volunteers who are about to save the day. 😂🫵⚽

You don’t have to be a soccer expert. You just need to be willing to show up, encourage the kids, and help give them a fun season.

And if you’re already signed up as an assistant coach and have been thinking “I could probably do this…” — YES. Yes, you can. This is your sign. 😂🔥

Our teams are forming and the season is almost here, so we need you like…actually yesterday🙃

⚽️ FINAL JUGGLE CHALLENGE WINNERS! 🎉

That’s a wrap on our Juggle Challenge! 🙌 Congratulations to our final winners! 🏆

A HUGE thank you to every player who took the time to practice, challenge themselves, and submit a video over the past 5 weeks. We loved seeing players of all ages getting touches on the ball and pushing themselves to beat their best!

And the best part? Every player who submitted a video earned a ball! ⚽️👏 Ended up giving away 10 soccer balls!

Thank you to everyone who joined in and helped make this challenge so much fun. Keep juggling, keep working, and keep that ball at your feet! 💪
