The 2026 Korea National Assembly President’s Cup U.S. Taekwondo Championship is proud to serve as a qualifying event for the 2027 Adidas Traditional Taekwondo Circuit!

Athletes competing in our Traditional Forms, Open Forms, Weapon Forms, and Board Breaking divisions will have the opportunity to qualify for the 2027 Adidas Traditional Taekwondo Team Trials in Orlando, Florida, July 1–3, 2027! 🇺🇸

But qualifying for the team means more than just wearing the uniform — it’s an opportunity to represent Traditional Taekwondo on the international stage. 🌎

National Team Member Benefits Include:
• Official National Team Uniform & Jacket
• Training Camp prior to international championships
• Entry fees covered by the Adidas Traditional Taekwondo Circuit
• Coaching services covered for international competitions

Athletes can now begin pre-ordering their KP&P electronic socks and gloves for the upcoming Korea National Assembly President’s Cup U.S. Open Championship this November! 🇰🇷🇺🇸

For this tournament, all Olympic Sparring Black Belts ages 10 & up will be required to have KP&P electronic socks and gloves to compete. These are the latest-generation electronic scoring gear, now required at many national and international Taekwondo events, used alongside the latest KP&P electronic hogus, headgear, and competition rules.

25 years later, we remember.

We remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the countless heroes who ran toward danger when others were running away.

In the face of unimaginable evil, we also witnessed something greater: hope, courage, resilience, and a nation standing together as one.

Today, we remember not only the heroes of September 11th, but the heroes all around us who sacrifice every day to protect, serve, teach, care for, and lift up others.

May we never forget what tragedy taught us about what truly matters: that we are stronger together, that every life has dignity and purpose, and that love for one another is greater than the hatred that seeks to divide us.

Let us honor those we lost by choosing to love, choosing to serve, and choosing to lift one another up.

We are deeply honored to receive this message of support from Chairman Lee Dong-sup of the Korea National Assembly Taekwondo Federation in recognition of the upcoming Korea National Assembly President’s Cup U.S. Taekwondo Championship on November 7, 2026.

Chairman Lee is also the former President of Kukkiwon, the World Taekwondo Headquarters, making his presence at this championship a particularly rare and special opportunity for Taekwondo practitioners across the United States.
