Well after a very uncertain Spring and Summer due to my wife’s illness I really wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to get to do any guiding this year for bear. But after enduring a major surgery and having a portion of her right lung removed we went through her recovery together and her being one of the most strongest women I know, she was healed up enough for me to head North when the time came. I wasn’t able to do any guiding, but was able to set up sites and do some hunting with good friends. Was the first time in 21 years since I last sat on stand and killed a bear. Felt great to be on stand again and get another nice bear after all those years. We went three for five in one week. Ryan’s dressed 132lbs, mine went 158lbs and Rich’s dressed 247lbs.
