Fantastic photo of Summit Point Motorsports Park before the first race ever.

Cool moment occured during the Jefferson 500 this year. Bob Nichols, one of the original owners stopped by and dropped this photo off. Reportedly taken from a T6 before the first race. If you look closely, you can see an airplane parked on the hot pit. I asked him if, when he looked at the empty fields 56 years ago, did he ever imagine he'd be watching folks race here now. I told him the paddock was full of racers who'd want to shake his hand.

July 10-12 at New Jersey Motorsports Park - NJMP - Lightning! The Glasstown Vintage SpeedFest by VRG! Go register here: https://msreg.com/VRGNJMP2026

We're going to have a dedicated run group for Spec Renault/SRF2/SRF3, and a "Modern" group - much like our Turkey Bowl event - if it's a race car with a club like SCCA or NASA, it can probably come race! We don't charge until after the event is over - so, register, it can't hurt!
