Yesterday was a BIG day for PedalPower Kids! 🚲💚

We spent the day at Eastport on the Move with Eastport Elementary School and the DC Family Bike Fest , and we had such an amazing time at both!

From getting kids moving in Eastport to celebrating bikes and community in DC, we loved being part of two events that brought families together and got kids excited about being active on two wheels. đź’™

A huge thank you to everyone who invited us to be part of their events, we had so much fun!

“I never tried quitting, and I never quit trying.”

Dolly spent her life showing the world what it means to keep pushing forward—not just in her music, but in her fierce dedication to uplifting children, inspiring literacy, and spreading pure kindness. That spirit of never quitting, of trying again even when things get tough, is a lesson we hold close every single day. 

Rest in peace, Dolly. Thank you for leaving the world a whole lot brighter than you found it. ❤️✨

All the way to the Bay!!!! 🌊 Our Advanced Bike Adventure Campers rode to Sandy Point State Park today, utilizing the completed Broadneck Trail (& the B&A Trail)- it couldn’t have been a prettier day, and the new trail near the Park is lovely- much of it well-shaded, quiet and peaceful. We’d recommend parking at the Broadneck Library for a nice fun family round trip ride!

Two more incredible weeks of bike camps to share!!! We’re so proud of our resilient and tough campers - from riding to the Zoo in extreme heat (&hills!) to pedaling in a hallway inside because of the air quality, our bike campers persevere- with smiles on their faces! When bike campers navigate hard things, they’re building a foundation of confidence and agency. We’re not just building riders, we’re building leaders, one pedal at a time.
