We’re back with Coach Bri from Tenacity Project, and today we’re working on footwork.
She’s taking us through a few stickwork ladder favorites: In & Out Burgers, Smash Burgers, Icky Shuffle variations, and Smash Fries. 🥍
We’ll keep building from here, so save this post as your foundation and stay tuned for Part 2.
Tenacity Project
The Tenacity Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering girls through sports.
We believe that we can help young women navigate life’s challenges by providing a supportive environment in which they can develop the necessary tools for becoming successful on and off the field. Through these athletic programs, we can help student-athletes become adept at goal setting, problem solving, performing under pressure, and working well with others. It is important that our athletes lea

Congratulations to Kaye Zilinskas, this year’s Randy Gross Scholarship Award recipient.
The award honors an athlete who embodies what Randy valued: persistence, determination, commitment to team and leadership, dedication to lacrosse, service, community spirit, and integrity.
Kaye, we are proud to recognize you and celebrate the way you represent Tenacity Project on and off the field.
This scholarship is made possible by generous donations from families in the BearLax and Tenacity Classes of 2013 through 2024.

Last weekend’s Tenacity Project Gala brought together our Elite players, families, and coaches for a meaningful night of connection and recognition.
We celebrated our teams, heard from our coaches, and recognized the work happening across every grad year.
Thank you to every player, parent, coach, and supporter who helped make the night so special. Proud of this group and excited for what’s ahead.

Shoutout and congrats to Tenacity athletes Magda Rufo-Hill and Isla Lutz for advancing to the next phase of the USA Lacrosse Youth National Teams Combine.
Magda and Isla will head to USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Maryland, this July for the next phase of the combine.
We’re so proud to see two Washington Tenacity athletes earning this opportunity and representing what it means to compete, lead, and live with Tenacity.
Women in sports are not just learning how to compete. They are learning how to lead.
To communicate under pressure.
To recover after mistakes.
To trust their voice.
To support their teammates.
To keep showing up when things get hard.
That is The Tenacity Way.
We use lacrosse as the vehicle, but the work is bigger than the game. Every drill, huddle, rep, reflection, and lesson helps our athletes build the skills they will carry far beyond the field.
At Tenacity, we are not just developing strong players. We are developing strong women.

After a weekend of lacrosse camps, tournaments, travel, and team time, Monday is a chance to pause and choose how we want to show up next.
Today, we have two journal prompts for you:
1️⃣ What kind of teammate do you want to be this week?
Think about the energy you want to bring. The way you want to communicate. How you want to respond when things get hard. How you can celebrate the small wins, lift others up, lead with effort, and show up with heart.
2️⃣ Who is one teammate inspiring you right now?
Think about someone who brings steady energy, works hard when no one is watching, celebrates others, communicates with confidence, or keeps showing up with heart.
Reflect on the qualities you admire and add them to your journal. Then, if someone came to mind, tag her below and let her know.
At Tenacity, we journal because reflection is part of training. It helps athletes slow down, notice what they’re learning, manage pressure, and stay connected to who they are on and off the field.
