To ensure a pleasant experience for all, kindly maintain a 20-foot distance from the horses at Horse Hill. Horses can be spooked quickly and can start running out of nowhere. Should a horse approach, please keep a safe distance. Furthermore, we ask that you refrain from feeding the horses, as this can lead to fighting over food, accidental bites, and choking hazards that necessitate urgent veterinary care.

Horses can occasionally get hurt. After discovering a blood puddle, a hiker checked the horses and observed that Saraya's legs were covered in blood. The hiker immediately got in touch with the Humane Society and another officer, and they swiftly contacted Horse Hill, leading to prompt contact with the owner. A veterinarian arrived shortly thereafter, sedated Saraya, cleaned and stitched her wound. Saraya is currently recovering in the drylot and is receiving antibiotics to prevent any potential infections. The exact cause of the injury is still not clear.
