Results from Lake Erie Speedway 9-12 to 9-13:

Friday we led laps in the heat race in the Blu Metz Racing #33 TQ. We ultimately finished 3rd still making the redraw. We started from 6th place in a field of 26 for our first feature of the American Racer Cup. We dropped like a rock fighting handling issues. Later in the run things came back to us and we clawed a 9th place finish back.

Overnight we studied photos and footage to come up with a plan to turn our luck around. Saturday rain early in the day delayed the program much to our behest. Hours were spent between Kyle, Blu, and Nate changing all four corners of the car in a drastic effort to find more speed.

Rain washed out the heats but it was clear in practice we had improved. The feature line up was set from the previous day finish. The invert landed us 6th again. At the start of the race we fell back again due to cars in front of us not firing off well. We moved back up quickly but started loosing power from a clogged injector. The improvements made to the set up allowed us to overcome the power deficit and hold onto a 5th place finish.

The weekend certainly could have gone better but we learned and improved. The track was one of the coolest we have raced at and will be on the list to go back to.

As we enter the final stretch of the season we are focused on chasing our first win and championship.

Day two at Lake Erie Speedway!

Last night didnt go as well as we hoped. We spent a long time watching footage to figure out where we missed the mark. We are going to make some changes and hope for a better result tonight!

Brought both cars home in one piece. Jasper finished 8th, Kyle went 6th to 9th.

Kyle struggled early falling out of the top 10 but found speed in the closing laps to rocket back passed a few cars to end Friday night.

Its weekend at Lake Erie Speedway!

We are taking the hike with the Metz Racing 33 to Lake Erie to run the final race weekend of the American Racer Cup.

After a tough double head we have gone through and changed all four corners of the car and are confident we will be bringing more speed this weekend!
