“Controlled chaos” is the best phrase for everything that we have been doing for the last 30 days to get ready for our May 1 opening (Big Oyster will follow shortly after). There’s been so much change on a daily basis!!! Our staffs and the Big Oyster staffs have been working hard with long hours. The golf course is in phenomenal shape even though Mother Nature has dealt us blow after blow with rain and cold temperatures. We continue to move forward to achieve our goal of renovating a course that sat untouched for 2 plus years, in just over a year, in to a Championship level facility!!! Mind you we did this all in house without a golf construction crew and golf architect. We still have much more to do even after we open. Future projects will be constructing a new practice putting green(to replace our temporary one), a new range tee with covered hitting bays and a 19th hole which will be a short par 4, long par 3. Having Big Oyster take care of our restaurant is going to be a huge bonus for us. Our ownership has been amazing and have given me and my staff everything we needed to get to this point and to move forward with future projects. We look forward to seeing y’all out there and providing the best experience possible!!
