⛸️ LEARN TO SKATE REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!

Ready to get on the ice? Our Learn to Skate program at Richmond Ice Box is officially open for registration! Classes begin September 15th!

Tuition is $90/month and includes:
- 1 Learn to Skate class per week — 4 classes per month
- 30 minutes of practice ice immediately following each class
- Unlimited Public Skate sessions throughout the month

Skate rentals are included at no additional cost for skaters enrolled in:
- Ice Explorers
- Beginning Foundations
- Hockey 1
Skaters in all other levels will need to pay for skate rentals if needed.

Coming Soon: Aspire Levels
Registration for our new Aspire levels will be opening soon! Aspire will replace Free Skate classes, so stay tuned for more information and registration details.

We’re excited to officially introduce Chris Burgess, General Manager of Richmond Ice Box!

Chris has been an important part of the Richmond Ice Box team for a while now, and as we continue introducing the people behind our facility, we wanted to give him the recognition he deserves. With 17 years of experience in the ice rink industry, Chris brings extensive knowledge, leadership, and a strong commitment to creating the best possible experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

As General Manager, Chris oversees all aspects of rink operations, including staff leadership, customer experience, facility maintenance, skating and hockey programs, special events, and community partnerships.

Chris’s passion for the ice sports community and dedication to providing a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment have already made a tremendous impact at Richmond Ice Box. We’re grateful to have him leading our team and are excited for everything ahead.

Join us to learn first-hand about our new figure skating program, including coaching opportunities, ice time, scheduling, fees, and our vision for the future.

Come meet our General Manager and Figure Skating Director to ask questions and learn more about the opportunities available to coaches and their skaters at Richmond Ice Box!

If you’ve been wanting to learn how to skate but didn’t know where to start, this is for you! Join us this Thursday, August 13 for a FREE 20-minute Intro to Skate session during Public Skate.

We’ll cover the basics to help you build confidence on the ice in a fun, welcoming environment. No experience needed, and all ages are welcome!
