Could tight muscles in your neck be triggering your headaches?
When I evaluate cervicogenic headaches, I often find tension and trigger points in muscles around the neck, upper back, and base of the skull.
One treatment I may use is dry needling. Using very thin, sterile needles, I target tight areas of muscle to help reduce tension and improve how the area moves and feels.
Most sessions take about 10–15 minutes, and some patients may feel mild soreness afterward, similar to what you might feel after a workout.
My goal is to identify what may be contributing to your headaches and build a treatment plan around the cause.
