đ¨ GE APPLIANCESâI NEED YOUR HELP! đ¨
I have now purchased TWO GE washers, and unfortunately, both have caused major problems within just a few years.
My first washer was purchased from Loweâs about six years ago and cost more than $900. After only a few years, it began having issues. GE replaced and repaired partsâif I remember correctlyâtwice. Once it was out of warranty, I was told the only option was to purchase another GE washer at a âdiscountedâ price.
That replacement washer still cost me approximately $850. GE delivered it and removed the original broken washer, which was only a few years old.
Now, the replacement washerâwhich is also only a few years oldâis broken again.
The first time it broke, it was only approximately 15 months old. That happened in January or February of this year, and we were without a washer for a couple of weeks while waiting for it to be repaired.
A few weeks ago, the exact same problem happened again. Getting service has been nearly impossible. I waited two weeks for a scheduled appointment, only to have it canceled the morning the technician was supposed to arrive. Now, after nearly a month without a working washer, a technician is supposedly coming tomorrow.
Fingers crossed, everyone! đ¤
GE Appliances, I have spent approximately $1,750 on two washers, dealt with multiple breakdowns and repairs, and gone weeks without a working machine. I really need your help finding a permanent solution because this is completely unacceptable.
