🥋 CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR VILLARI’S STUDENTS! 🎉

Fall Belt Test • September 12, 2026

What a great day of martial arts, achievement, teamwork and growth at Villari’s Martial Arts!

Congratulations to all of our students who participated in Saturday’s Belt Test. Everyone did an awesome job demonstrating their skills, focus, effort and determination—and, most importantly, showing the progress that comes from consistent practice and dedication. 👊

A special congratulations to two of our students who earned their Brown Belts! 🤎🥋 Reaching Brown Belt represents an important milestone in the martial arts journey and reflects many hours of training, perseverance and continued growth. We’re very proud of both of you!

The test was led by Master Jesse Harding and Sensei Thomas Schmid, with assistance from two of our Brown Belt STORM Team members. It’s always rewarding to see our more experienced students stepping forward to help, lead and encourage.

We also had a special addition to the day from Mr. Stone, who has been studying martial arts with Master Jesse. Drawing upon his 10 years of training experience in China, he shared several Wushu drills with our students—giving everyone an opportunity to experience something new and broaden their martial arts perspective.

Days like this remind us that earning a new belt is about much more than the belt itself. It represents the practice, challenges, lessons and small improvements that happen along the way.

KEEP SHOWING UP • KEEP LEARNING • KEEP GROWING

Every belt is another step on the journey—and every step prepares us for the next one.

Congratulations to everyone who tested! We are proud of your accomplishments and excited to see where your training takes you next. 👏🥋

Congratulations to Our F.I.S.T. & S.T.O.R.M. Leadership Team!

A huge congratulations and heartfelt thank you to all of the students who participated in this year's Villari's Spring F.I.S.T. & S.T.O.R.M. Training Intensive!

Over two full days of training, our students challenged themselves to grow as leaders, instructors, role models, and martial artists. Together we explored leadership skills, communication, teaching methods, class structure, teamwork, responsibility, and personal development—all while strengthening our Shaolin Kempo Karate foundation.

What impressed us the most was not simply the skills learned, but the enthusiasm, effort, positive attitudes, and willingness to help others that each participant brought to the training. These qualities are what truly define leadership.

Special thanks to Sensei Thomas for his outstanding support and instruction throughout the weekend, and to all of the students and families who invested their time and energy into becoming better leaders both inside and outside the dojo.

We are proud of our leadership team and look forward to seeing how each of you continue to grow, teach, and inspire.

👏 Congratulations to all our graduates!

Lead. Teach. Inspire.

We are incredibly proud of everyone who stepped onto the tournament floor with courage, focus, and great spirit. Many of our students earned medals and awards throughout the day, but even more importantly, they represented our school with respect, sportsmanship, perseverance, and positive energy. Congrats Sensei Thomas in winning first in the adult forms event!👊🥋

The event was filled with exciting competition, amazing demonstrations, traditional Lion Dancing, sparring, forms, weapons, Tai Chi, Push Hands, and the chance to connect with martial artists from many different schools and styles. It was a fun and memorable experience for all involved!

A special thank you to the tournament organizers, staff, judges, coaches, parents, and supporters who helped make the event such a success.

To our students:
Win or lose, every time you step outside your comfort zone and test yourself, you grow stronger. Tournaments are not just about trophies—they are about character, experience, learning, and the spirit to keep improving. We are proud of each and every one of you!
