Well, Everyone… we made it.
Another summer of sunscreen, chlorine, cannonballs, lost goggles, “HOW MANY GUESTS CAN I BRING?”, and approximately 47,000 reminders to WALK lol.
We watched little swimmers become stronger, kids make new friends, teenagers spend approximately 93% of their summer at the pool, and families make memories that (hopefully) will last a whole lot longer than their tan lines.
To our lifeguards, concession crew, swim instructors, and board members, and everyone who helped keep this place running…THANK YOU. You gave your time, energy, patience, and probably a little bit of your sanity to make this summer happen.
To our members and guests… thank you for showing up, supporting the club, bringing your families, buying your snacks at the Splash Shack, participating in our events, and making Middletown Swim Club feel like more than just a pool.
It’s a little bittersweet saying goodbye. There were long days, crazy weather and plenty of moments where we wondered, “Why do we do this again?”
Then we’d look around and see the pool full of kids laughing, families hanging out, friends sitting under the pavilion, and someone inevitably getting yelled at for running… and we remembered exactly why.
So, from all of us at MSC:
Thank you for another unforgettable summer.
Thank you for the laughs.
Thank you for the memories.
Thank you for supporting our little piece of summer.
Now go home, put away your pool bags and enjoy your fall.
But don't get too comfortable…
We’ll see you next summer.
