Thanks to everyone that came out, I’ll get the September match posted in a few days, but we already have a few things in mind that’ll make the September match a lot of fun.
The September match will annual Big Range Day. We’ll have the normal 22 match, then a centerfire pistol side match, then do 50 birds at sporting clays. We did it last September and everyone had a great time.

Here is the match brief for Saturday 8/29.
Stage 1: Vortex Optics Benchrest, one shot per target, 25 targets, unlimited rounds on sighter targets, 50 yards.
6 minutes, 125 points possible
Stage 2: Shaw Armament Systems KYL, 67 yards, large to small, hit to move, one mulligan. Two misses equals zero points.
2 minutes, 80 points possible
Stage 3: Sure-Shot Shooting Supplies, LLC Cattlegate, unknown distance, 2 rounds from each of the 6 positions.
2 minutes, 120 points possible
Stage 4: Middletown Sportsmen’s Club Pipes, take a position on the left pipe and engage the target at approximately 155 yards with one round, then continue moving right and repeating. You will repeat this sequence 3 times.
2 minutes, 150 points possible
Stage 5: Thunder Valley Precision Death Valley, take a position on the rooftop and engage the targets from near to far, and large to small, with one round each. Distance will be 80-210 yards.
2 minutes, 100 points possible
We got some new targets that we’ll be rolling out for stage 5, they should add to the challenge.
The gates open at 8, match starts at 9, 20/adult, 10/junior.
Everyone is welcome, you don’t need to be a member to compete in the match. Visitors are welcome to spectate at no cost, but you’ll learn more by joining in.

Here is the match brief for Saturday 7/25:
Stage 1: Vortex Optics Benchrest, take a position on the bench and engage each of the 25 targets with one round each.
7 minutes, 125 points possible
Stage 2: Shaw Armament Systems KYL, Jimmy’s Tubes of Doom, take a position in a tube and engage the large target with one round, then change position and engage the next smaller target, and so on. Positions may not be reused. There will be one mulligan, two misses will result in a zero for the stage, stop at anytime and keep your points.
2 minutes, 80 points possible
Stage 3: Sure-Shot Shooting Supplies, LLC Cattlegate, take a position on the cattlegate and engage the targets from far to near with one round each, then change positions and repeat. Positions may not be reused. Targets will be at 100, 78 and 50 yards.
2 minutes, 120 points possible
Stage 4: Middletown Sportsmen’s Club Pipes, take a position on the pipes and engage the spinning target at 120 yards from large to small with one round each, then change positions and repeat. Positions may not be reused.
2 minutes, 100 points possible
Stage 5: Thunder Valley Precision Death Valley, from a prone position, engage each of the 6 targets with two rounds each, near to far.
2 minutes, 120 points possible
From here on out, more people will be getting their 6th match and having official championship points. So the points race is heating up!
