šØ You built something special.
You survived the hard days.
You figured things out.
You got the clients.
You created momentum.
But now⦠you feel STUCK.
And hereās the truth: what got you here may not be what gets you to the next level.
Scaling your business requires more than working harder. It requires strategy, structure, systems, clarity, and the right mindset.
Thatās exactly why I created Beyond the Plateau ā a coaching program designed to help entrepreneurs break through the ceiling thatās keeping them from growing and scaling.
You donāt have to stay stuck at the level youāve reached.
Itās time to go beyond the plateau. š

The Tate brothers may be one example, but they are NOT the only ones who understand the power of perception.
Social media can make success look FAST, EASY, AND INSTANT.
And because we want it so badlyāand we want it NOWāwe can fall for the person who makes us believe:
āJust do this and youāll be rich.ā
āMake this much money in 30 days.ā
āQuit your job and become a 6-figure entrepreneur.ā
āHereās the secret nobody is telling you.ā
But let me tell you somethingā¦
Iāve been in business long enough to know: IT AINāT EASY.
There were years of learning, mistakes, rejection, setbacks, sacrifices, and moments when I questioned whether I was going to make it.
And thatās the part social media doesnāt always show you.
So before you compare your beginning to somebody elseās highlight reel, remember:
You donāt know the whole story behind what youāre seeing.
Donāt let someone elseās carefully created image convince you that youāre failing because your journey isnāt happening fast enough.
Build the business.
Learn the skills.
Make the mistakes.
Stay consistent.
Play the LONG game.
Because real success doesnāt always happen overnight.
Sometimes it takes years of work before it looks like it happened overnight.
š¬ Have you ever looked at someone on social media and thought, āHow did they get there so fast?ā
5 YEARS of IAMFABULOUSBIZ. ššš
And let me tell you⦠it was NOT a straight road.
It was an emotional rollercoaster. š¢
There were days with no money.
Negative bank accounts.
Late payments.
Eviction notices.
Moments when I genuinely thought I was going to be homeless.
I experienced a panic attack.
I faced betrayal, disrespect, and people who didnāt believe in me.
I got denied for funding.
And there were moments when I questioned whether I was really going to make it.
But I kept moving.
Not because it was easy.
Not because I always had the money.
Not because everyone supported me.
I kept moving because I knew the vision God gave me.
And honestly? I had no Plan B.
So I had to keep building, keep learning, keep pivoting, keep believing, and keep showing up.
Today, Iām celebrating 5 YEARS in business. š„
Not because the journey has been perfect⦠but because Iām still here.
Still building.
Still serving.
Still growing.
Still striving for the best.
And this is only the beginning.
Hereās to another 5 years⦠and beyond! ššš
If youāre in the middle of your own āI donāt know how Iām going to make itā season, let this be your reminder:
The struggle may be part of the story, but it does NOT have to be the ending.
Drop a š if youāre still building despite everything youāve been through.
Last week of August, make it count! š
You got the funding⦠now what? š°
One of the biggest mistakes small business owners make is getting the money before they have a plan for the money.
I learned this lesson myself. I invested in inventory without first confirming the demand. The result? I didnāt lose everythingābut I barely broke even. š©
Funding is NOT the strategy.
Funding should fuel the strategy you already have.
Without a plan, itās easy to:
šØ Spend on emergencies
šØ Make impulse purchases
šØ Buy inventory you donāt need
šØ Mismanage your cash flow
šØ Run out of capital before the real opportunity comes
Before you apply for funding, ask yourself:
āIf I get this money tomorrow, exactly how will I use it to grow my business?ā
Donāt wait until the money hits your account to figure that out.
Plan first. Fund second. Execute with intention.

Welcome to Part 2 of my Nonprofit Funding Series!
One of the biggest misconceptions I see is founders thinking that because they created the nonprofit, they are the owner.
Hereās the truth: a nonprofit does not have owners or shareholders.
As the founder, you may have started the organization and played a major role in building its visionābut the organization is a separate entity, governed according to its bylaws and overseen by its board.
Understanding this distinction is critical when it comes to governance, decision-making, accountability, and ultimately positioning your nonprofit for funding.
š” Founder ā Owner.
If youāre building a nonprofit, make sure you understand the rules BEFORE you start treating it like a traditional business.
š Watch Part 3 because weāre going even deeper into what nonprofits need to be properly structured and funding-ready.
