Back to my early morning workouts… Since Dad passed, with Mom and my sister overseas and all the troubles life has brought, this is the first time I’ve returned this early and trained consistently, day after day. I’m still trying to find myself as I navigate all the changes and step into this new chapter of my life..

Circa 1998 I didn’t know that all these things were coming and that some will be so painful it will change me all. What would be a thing or things; you would tell yourself knowing your story- for me it would be “appreciate the moment present with the family and don’t wait the perfect this or that”

When we first met, I showed him this little finger trick: you touch your thumb and index finger together on each hand, flip them over your eyes, and somehow end up with little cute (or weird) finger glasses. 😂

Years later… he still can’t do it. 🙃 and we continue to laugh about it
