🎬 Stage 6 — The Pyrenees Deliver Their Verdict
UAE kept a steady tempo throughout the day, but the Col d’Aspin delivered the first real selection: the group was trimmed to about 50 riders, a clear sign that the mountains were beginning to take control.
With 5 km to go on the Tourmalet, Del Toro tightened the pace… and Pogacar answered with icy precision: he attacked while seated, never rising from the saddle, just pure, sustained power.
The Pyrenees don’t forgive, and today they made that perfectly clear.
What followed was a full-scale exhibition: 42 kilometers alone all the way to Gavarnie–Gèdre, a long, controlled march that put the yellow jersey back on Pogacar’s shoulders and opened a gap of over two minutes on Vingegaard.
The Tourmalet spoke. Pogacar, seated, delivered the verdict.

UAE marcó un paso parejo durante el día, pero en el Col d’Aspin llegó el primer filtro serio: el grupo quedó reducido a unos 50 corredores, señal de que la montaña ya estaba cobrando peaje.
A 5 km del Tourmalet, Del Toro endureció el ritmo… y Pogacar respondió con una frialdad quirúrgica: atacó sentado, sin levantarse de la bici, sin gestos dramáticos. Solo potencia pura, sostenida, implacable.
Los Pirineos no perdonan, y hoy tampoco tuvieron intención de hacerlo.
Lo que siguió fue una exhibición monumental: 42 kilómetros en solitario hasta Gavarnie–Gèdre, una cabalgata que devolvió al esloveno el maillot amarillo y abrió una ventaja de más de dos minutos sobre Vingegaard.
El Tourmalet habló. Pogacar, sentado, lo silenció.

🎬 Stage 5 — Pau Belongs to the Sprinters
A calm day for the sprinters in Stage 5. The lone breakaway by Veistroffer lasted 144 km, but with a flat 158 km profile and the peloton rolling comfortably on wheels, the stage never turned difficult. Everything pointed to a pure sprint.
In Pau, the tranquility snapped into speed. The Dutchman Olav Kooij delivered a flawless final burst to claim the victory.
A soft day on the road, decided in a single, explosive moment and stifling heat.
🎬 Etapa 5 — Pau dicta velocidad
Día plácido para los velocistas en la quinta etapa del Tour. La fuga solitaria de Veistroffer resistió 144 kilómetros, pero en una jornada completamente chata de 158 km, el pelotón rodó a rueda, sin tensión, sin desgaste real. Todo estaba reservado para los últimos metros.
En Pau, cuando la calma se transformó en un corredor estrecho de potencia pura, el neerlandés Olav Kooij lanzó el sprint perfecto y se quedó con la victoria.

🎬 Stage 4 — Foix Takes the Yellow
With the yellow jersey on Pogacar’s shoulders, UAE eased the pace, and a strong breakaway took full advantage, stretching the gap beyond 12 minutes. The race came alive on the Col de Montségur, where the fight for the virtual lead turned into a direct duel between Traeen and Quinn.
The final descent into Foix delivered its verdict: a group of ten survivors reached the line, and Pedersen powered to the stage win. Behind him, the real twist — Traeen pulls on the yellow jersey, becoming the new leader of the Tour.
The day began with Pogacar in control… and ends with a new man in command.
🎬 Etapa 4 — El Tour cambia de manos en Foix
Con el maillot amarillo ya sobre los hombros de Pogacar, UAE bajó el ritmo por primera vez en este Tour. Esa pausa abrió la puerta a una fuga robusta, que llegó a estirar su ventaja por encima de los 12 minutos, un respiro para unos y una amenaza para otros.
La carrera despertó en el Col de Montségur, donde el liderato virtual se convirtió en una batalla directa entre Traeen y Quinn. Cada curva del ascenso fue un duelo silencioso, cada metro una negociación con la montaña.
El descenso hacia Foix trajo el veredicto: el grupo de diez sobrevivientes llegó compacto, y Pedersen remató con potencia para quedarse con la victoria de etapa. Detrás de él, la verdadera noticia: el noruego Traeen se convierte en el nuevo portador del maillot amarillo.
El Tour amaneció con Pogacar de líder… y anochece con otro dueño en la clasificación general.

🎬 Stage 3 — The Tour Finds Its New Leader
Stage 3 closed on the climb to Les Angles, 1.8 km at 6.5%, a short ramp that proved enough to expose the hierarchy of this Tour. UAE controlled the peloton from start to finish, setting the stage for Pogacar to launch his first decisive strike.
He opened the gap, crossed the line alone, and with that final surge earned the space he needed to trade the rainbow jersey for yellow.
Behind him, two riders left strong impressions: Carapaz and Seixas, sharp, present, and showing the kind of form that matters in the first week.
The Tour is still young, but today’s finish made one thing clear — the race already has a protagonist.
🎬 Etapa 3 — El Tour encuentra su nuevo dueño
La tercera etapa concluyó con el ascenso a Les Angles, 1.8 km al 6.5%, una rampa corta pero suficiente para revelar quién manda en este Tour. El pelotón fue controlado de principio a fin por UAE, y en el último kilómetro la escena quedó escrita: Pogacar lanzó su golpe, abrió espacio, y cruzó la meta con la autoridad necesaria para cambiar el arcoíris por el amarillo.
Primera victoria del esloveno en este Tour. Primera señal clara de que el equipo vino a dominar desde la base hasta la cima.
Y entre las sombras del grupo, dos nombres dejaron sensaciones brillantes: Carapaz y Seixas, sólidos, atentos, presentes en cada movimiento importante.
El Tour apenas comienza, pero la montaña ya eligió a su protagonista.

🎬 Stage 2 — Barcelona Ignites
After Vingegaard’s victory in the team time trial, Stage 2 turned Barcelona into a cauldron: two laps on a 12.2 km circuit, the brutal 1.6 km Montjuïc climb at 9.3%, and a fast 2.5 km drop into the Olympic Stadium.
UAE seized control on the first ascent. With 11.7 km to go, a brief exchange between Pogacar and Del Toro hinted at the ending: a sharp move, a silent pact.
The stage went to the Mexican, Pogacar right behind. But the real strike came from the bonifications, a calculated hit aimed directly at the Dane.
🎬 Etapa 2 — Barcelona en llamas
Tras la victoria de Vingegaard en la crono por equipos, la segunda etapa convirtió a Barcelona en un escenario eléctrico: dos vueltas a un circuito de 12,2 km, el ascenso brutal a Montjuïc — 1.6 km al 9.3% — y una caída de 2.5 km hacia el Estadio Olímpico.
UAE tomó el control en el primer paso por Montjuïc. A 11.7 km de meta, la breve conversación entre Pogacar y Del Toro anticipó el desenlace: ataque preciso, alianza silenciosa.
Victoria para el mexicano, Pogacar segundo. La jugada maestra estuvo en las bonificaciones, un golpe directo al danés desde el segundo día.

🎬 The Great Double Alpe d’Huez — Tour de France 2026
For the first time in 113 years of Tour de France history, the race dares to break its own mythology. Two consecutive days, two faces of the same mountain: Alpe d’Huez, the sacred ground of pure climbers.
On July 24, the yellow serpent of 21 hairpins rises from Bourg d’Oisans, the classic ascent where legends carved their names into cycling’s eternal stone. On July 25, the peloton dives into the wild, technical, untamed slopes of the Col de Sarenne, where the air thins, the silence deepens, and every pedal stroke feels like a step into destiny.
The cameras will capture the same summit, but two different souls: one climb of glory, the other of survival. The 2026 Tour is not designed for speed — it is designed for purity, for the raw essence of cycling.
Across these two days, the mountain becomes judge and executioner. Born climbers will write their fate on the asphalt once ruled by Coppi, Hinault, and Pantani. And when the sun sets over the Alps, the world will know the Tour has entered a new era — the era of the Double Alpe d’Huez.

Por primera vez en 113 años de historia, el Tour de Francia se atreve a desafiar la lógica y la leyenda. Dos días consecutivos, dos caras de una misma montaña: Alpe d’Huez, el altar de los escaladores natos.
El 24 de julio, la serpiente amarilla de 21 curvas se eleva desde Bourg d’Oisans, donde los héroes clásicos forjaron su nombre. El 25 de julio, el pelotón se adentra por el Col de Sarenne, un camino salvaje, técnico, casi místico, donde el aire se vuelve delgado y el tiempo parece detenerse.
