GREAT NUTRITION STARTS EARLY đź’›

Good nutrition doesn’t start when we become adults. It starts in childhood, when the habits, tastes, and relationship we develop with food begin shaping the way we eat for years to come.

Between the ages of 2, 3, and 4, children are growing and developing rapidly. Balanced nutrition means providing appropriate sources of carbohydrates, protein, healthy fats, vitamins, minerals, fruits, vegetables, and a variety of whole foods to support normal growth, development, and everyday energy.

Little Penélope Isabela is a perfect example of how children learn from what they see at home. Her parents, Miguel and Shirley, are my clients, and after I introduced Rogers Rice into their nutrition routine, it became part of the foods they enjoy at home. Penélope sees Mom and Dad eating it, became curious, and now she loves preparing and enjoying her own Rogers Rice too.

That’s the bigger message: healthy habits are taught by example. When children see their parents making thoughtful food choices, cooking at home, and enjoying balanced meals, good nutrition becomes a natural part of family life.

Rogers Rice is a simple carbohydrate option that can be incorporated into balanced meals alongside age-appropriate protein, healthy fats, fruits, and other nutritious foods.

Teach them early. Lead by example. Build habits for life.

ZINC, WEIGHT LOSS & METABOLIC HEALTH

Can zinc actually support weight loss? A real randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled human clinical trial suggests it may provide meaningful benefits when combined with a calorie-restricted diet.

Researchers studied 40 adults with obesity for 15 weeks. Both groups followed a diet providing approximately 300 calories below their estimated daily energy requirements. One group received 30 mg of zinc daily, while the other received a placebo.

The results were significant.

Compared with placebo, participants receiving zinc showed greater reductions in body weight, BMI, waist circumference, and hip circumference.

But the benefits went beyond the scale.

The zinc group also showed lower levels of hs-CRP, an important marker of systemic inflammation, lower apelin levels, improved HOMA-IR, a marker used to assess insulin resistance, and significantly reduced appetite scores.

Why does this matter?

Obesity isn’t only about body weight. Inflammation, insulin sensitivity, appetite regulation, nutrition, and energy balance are all part of metabolic health. This study suggests that adequate zinc intake may help support several of these processes during a structured weight-loss diet.

However, zinc wasn’t a magic fat burner. Both groups were in a calorie deficit. The evidence shows a potential additional benefit from zinc supplementation alongside dietary intervention—not that taking zinc alone causes weight loss.

This is real published human research, not a social-media claim.

THE MUSCLE YOU BUILD TODAY IS THE LIFE YOU’LL LIVE TOMORROW.

Most people train to look better in the mirror.

The smartest people train to live better for the rest of their lives.

Decades of scientific research consistently show that muscle mass and strength are among the strongest predictors of longevity, independence, mobility, and overall quality of life. People who maintain more muscle stay stronger, walk faster, suffer fewer falls, recover better from illness, preserve their independence, and significantly reduce their risk of premature death.

The years between 40 and 60 are an investment in the decades that follow. The habits you build today will determine how you move, how you feel, and how independently you live at 70, 80, and even 90 years old.

Muscle isn’t just about aesthetics.

It’s your insurance policy for the future.

Lift weights. Eat enough high-quality protein. Stay active every day. Sleep well. Recover properly. Be consistent.

Your future body is being built with every workout, every meal, and every decision you make today.

Don’t train just to add years to your life.
Train to add life to your years.

Build your body. Protect your future.

Champions are never the ones who never struggle. They’re the ones who never quit.

When the pressure is at its highest, they don’t lower their heads. They fight harder. They believe. They keep pushing until the final whistle.

That’s what Argentina has shown throughout the 2026 World Cup. Every match. Every battle. Every comeback. When others would have given up, Argentina kept fighting.

Led by Lionel Messi, this team refuses to surrender. That’s what champions do.

Today we defeated England. For our history. For the Falkland Islands (Malvinas). For those who gave everything.

Thank you, Argentina.

Now it’s time for Spain this Sunday. One more battle. One more step toward our fourth World Cup.

The kings of world football.🇦🇷🏆🏆🏆🏆

MAKE EVERY REP COUNT

The athletes who build the best physiques aren’t the ones who do the most reps—they’re the ones who get the most out of every rep.

Every repetition should have a purpose. Control the weight instead of letting it control you. Slow down the negative, pause when it matters, and contract the target muscle as hard as possible. That mind-muscle connection is what turns ordinary training into extraordinary results.

Don’t chase numbers. Chase quality.

Ten perfect reps with full range of motion, total control, and maximum intensity will always beat twenty rushed, sloppy reps.

Train with intention.
Move with precision.
Finish every set knowing you gave every repetition your full attention.

Remember: muscles don’t count reps—they respond to tension.

Train smarter. Stay disciplined. Make every rep count.

MANY WANT RESULTS.
FEW ARE WILLING TO EMBRACE THE PROCESS.

Everyone wants a stronger body, better health, and more confidence.

But success isn’t built on motivation.
It’s built on discipline.

The days that change your life aren’t the easy ones.
They’re the days you train when you’re tired.
The days you make the right choice when no one is watching.
The days you refuse to quit.

Every workout.
Every healthy meal.
Every hour of recovery.
Every decision matters.

Remember:

Motivation gets you started.
Discipline keeps you going.
Consistency changes your life.

Don’t chase quick results.
Build habits that create lasting success.

Trust the process.
Respect the discipline.
Earn the results.

TRAIN CONSCIOUSLY. PERFORM WITH PURPOSE.

Most athletes focus on producing more force. The best athletes first learn how to absorb it.

Every sprint, jump, cut, and landing creates powerful ground reaction forces. If your body can’t control those forces, performance suffers and injury risk increases. That’s why elite athletic development begins with control before speed, stability before power, and quality before intensity.

A proven progression is simple:

• Isometric Strength
• Eccentric Strength
• Deceleration Control
• Reactive Strength
• Plyometric Performance

Plyometrics are not just about jumping higher. They’re about landing better. The real question isn’t, “Can the athlete jump?” It’s, “Can the athlete land safely, efficiently, and under complete control?”

Mastering deceleration allows the body to absorb force, store elastic energy, and release it explosively through the stretch-shortening cycle. This is how athletes become faster, more powerful, and more resilient while reducing unnecessary stress on their joints and soft tissues.

Remember: Most non-contact injuries occur during deceleration, not acceleration. Train your body to control force first, and explosive performance will naturally follow.

Build the foundation. Master movement. Then unleash power.
