From birth babies can grip and support their body weight( except head until neck strength develops) at about 3.5 years old, your child’s upper body strength starts to cut by 25-50% By doing classes that continue to encourage swinging, your child works on upper body strength and helps to regulate emotions. Your 3 year old is probably working on swinging on the bars at home or on the playground. Swinging helps them to regulate emotions.
It’s important to us to teach them how to reset and put their feet backwards, if they start to slip or loose grip.

The drop at the end is the bonus because falling fearlessly is also a 3nager trait. added bonus, it helps them regulate with deep pressure.
