Not my usual type of fishing trolling but it was the only way to explore Alaska’s deeper waters and target another salmon species. And it turned into an unforgettable adventure! 🎣
We saw whales, harbor seals, and I got to reel in 2 Pink Salmon, another species added to my list! No. 210 🐟🔥
Alaska just kept adding surprises to this trip. Every day, another memory, another species, another story.🎣
When I came to Alaska, this was one of my dreams, to actually meet a bear while fishing or on the way to my next fishing spot. 🐻🎣
This beautiful black bear was standing there with a mouth full of fresh salmon, enjoying his meal right in front of me. 🤯🐟
A truly unforgettable, once in a lifetime moment in the wild. Alaska, you are absolutely breathtaking! 🏔️❤️
Everyone was hoping to catch salmon, but I guess luck had a different plan for me! 😎🎣 Species No 207 unlocked , an Irish sculpin caught on a Mepps No. 5 spinner. And just a few casts later… the salmon finally found my line. 🤫🔥 Alaska was absolutely breathtaking!

Species 205 & 206🎣🔥
Two more unique species added to the list! Cooper Rockfish 📸 No 1 (205) , caught in Alaska on an artificial jig, and Quillback Rockfish 📸 2&3 (206) caught from shore in Seattle using a small piece of shrimp on a J-hook.
Beautifully ugly species 😍😂 and definitely not fish you want to mess with! Their venomous spines can cause intense pain for several hours if you get stung. Another two unforgettable catches from an incredible Alaska & Seattle adventure! 🎣🌎

Species No. 204 Striped pacific seaperch 😍
Small hook , little Shrimp and new species unlocked 🔓. This was a first fish on my trip , beautiful one too 😍
From one of the slowest fishing days to my personal best in less than a minute. 🍀🎣
Luck can change in a heartbeat. The moment my yellow Jig Fly touched the water, this absolute beast exploded on it. 💣 Some catches remind you why you never give up on the next cast.

Never thought I’d say this... but after hearing Steve Harvey speak, I’m officially Team Freshwater Fishing! 😂🎣👊
Listening to him share his wisdom about enjoying both fishing and life, no matter the conditions was one of the highlights of ICAST. His explanation of why he chooses bass over saltwater fishing had the whole room hooked... and honestly, he made some great points! 😅
