Not my usual type of fishing trolling but it was the only way to explore Alaskaβs deeper waters and target another salmon species. And it turned into an unforgettable adventure! π£

Alaska just kept adding surprises to this trip. Every day, another memory, another species, another story.π£

Species 205 & 206π£π₯
Two more unique species added to the list! Cooper Rockfish πΈ No 1 (205) , caught in Alaska on an artificial jig, and Quillback Rockfish πΈ 2&3 (206) caught from shore in Seattle using a small piece of shrimp on a J-hook.
Beautifully ugly species ππ and definitely not fish you want to mess with! Their venomous spines can cause intense pain for several hours if you get stung. Another two unforgettable catches from an incredible Alaska & Seattle adventure! π£π
