Healthy Eating, Travel & Finding Balance 🌿✈️🍽️
What does healthy eating really look like when you love food, love to travel, and don’t believe in giving up the things you enjoy? 🤔
I had such a fun conversation with Mel about exactly that!
I shared a little about my journey from nutritionist to health and wellness coach, and how much my upbringing shaped my relationship with food. Growing up in Hong Kong with my sisters, my mom cooked fresh meals for us every day and taught us from an early age to appreciate good, wholesome food. Those habits have stayed with me to this day. ❤️
We also chatted about finding balance when life gets busy, eating out, traveling, enjoying the occasional indulgence, and making healthier choices without turning food into a list of “good” and “bad” foods.
Because I truly believe healthy eating should be enjoyable! It’s not about being perfect. It’s about finding an approach that works for *your* life and that you can actually stick with.

Long Weekend Reminder ☀️🧠
Memorial Day weekend is here ✈️🍹🌴
Enjoy the celebrations, the food, the time with friends, and the slower pace, but don’t completely disconnect from the habits that help you feel good.
It’s still Mental Health Awareness Month, and your nervous system notices everything… the lack of sleep, nonstop plans, stress, alcohol, screens, and constant stimulation.
A little mindfulness goes a long way.
Move your body.
Drink your water.
Get outside.
Take a breather when you need one.
Protect your energy too.
You can have fun this weekend and still stay connected to your health intentions. Balance always feels better than burnout.
Wishing you all a fabulous Memorial Day Weekend 🇺🇸💛🇺🇸

🎙️ New Episode on Words of Wellness 💜
Health can feel simple… until life gets busy. Then even the basics start to slip.
I joined host Shelly for a real, practical conversation about how to stay consistent with your health, even with a full schedule, back-to-back meetings, and life on the go.
We talk about the biggest barrier most people face: the belief that there isn’t enough time. And how shifting that mindset, starting with why your health matters to you—can make everything else easier to follow through on.
We also cover:
✨ Why your family history doesn’t define your future
✨ Simple, realistic habits you can fit into a busy day
✨ Easy ways to stay active at your desk or during meetings
✨ How to stay on track while traveling (without missing out)
✨ Letting go of the all-or-nothing mindset
This is a grounded, honest conversation with practical ideas you can actually use in real life.

Holding Confident You: The Raw Conversations and smiling, because writing my chapter reminded me of something I see with busy, high-performing professionals every day:
Lasting change isn’t about willpower.
It’s about designing habits that actually fit your life: travel, long workdays, time zones, stress, and everything in between.
In my chapter, I explore how understanding why you do what you do (not just knowing what to do) changes everything. When habits are built for real life, not “perfect life”, energy stabilizes, focus sharpens, and results start to stick.
Confidence and self-leadership don’t come from forcing yourself. They grow from routines that truly support how you live.💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
If you grab a copy of Confident You: The Raw Conversations, I would love for you to share what resonates most and if it speaks to you, leaving a review makes a bigger difference than you know.💖
Available on Amazon in paperback and Kindle.
