But in all seriousness, this hike meant more to me than I can put into words.

Getting to meet so many of my clients in real life some for the very first time and watching complete strangers connect like they’ve known each other for years reminded me why I do what I do.

Yes, I help people get stronger and healthier, but my bigger purpose has always been to build a community where people encourage one another, create genuine friendships, and grow together.

This was more than just a hike. It was the start of something special.

Losing stubborn body fat feels complicated until you realize the rules are actually simple.

1️⃣ You can’t choose where the fat comes off first, so chasing your belly or love handles directly is a waste of time. Your body decides the order, and the only thing that drives the change is knowing your daily calories and staying in a sustainable deficit.

2️⃣ Build every meal around protein and slow down while you eat. Protein protects your muscle and keeps you full for hours, and eating slower gives your brain time to catch up so you stop before you’re stuffed.

3️⃣ Lift weights at least a few times a week. In a deficit your body will pull from muscle if you give it a reason to, and training is what tells it to hold onto the muscle and burn the fat instead.

4️⃣ Take a 10 to 15 minute walk after your meals. It blunts the blood sugar spike, helps digestion, and adds easy movement that quietly burns through your day.

5️⃣ Protect your sleep and aim for seven to eight hours. Run short and your hunger climbs, your cravings take over, and the deficit you worked for all day falls apart at night.
