Another Source Story, as we continue celebrating 25 years of Source Journeys.
While exploring the ancient city walls of Dubrovnik, Chuck struck up a conversation with another traveler overlooking the harbor below. When the man asked where they were staying, Chuck pointed toward the Royal Clipper, its five towering masts rising above the Adriatic.
The stranger smiled and admitted he was jealous. “You might want to step back from the edge,” he joked. “My envy might just knock you off.”
It was one of those perfect travel moments that stays with you. Two strangers on an ancient wall. A shared view. A little humor. A ship so beautiful it inspired envy from across the harbor.
Years later, that’s still the memory Chuck carries with him. Not just the remarkable ship or the beauty of Dubrovnik, but the unexpected conversation that turned a spectacular view into a story worth telling.

Norway gave us dramatic landscapes, colorful waterfronts, unforgettable experiences, and plenty of reasons to pause and take it all in.
But as always, it was the people who made the journey.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special voyage through the Norwegian fjords. We can’t wait to travel together again.

Some days on a journey are about checking off famous landmarks. Others are about seeing how every stop reveals a different side of a country.
From mountain trails and ancient stave churches to glacier viewpoints, waterfalls, and the colorful waterfronts of western Norway, each day brought something entirely new. The landscapes changed, the history deepened, and there was always another unforgettable view waiting around the next bend.
One of the joys of exploring Norway is how much variety fits into a single voyage. Quiet villages, dramatic scenery, centuries-old traditions, and time shared with fellow travelers all become part of the story.

From Stavanger to Lysefjord, Norway delivered the kind of day that reminds you why this coastline is so unforgettable.
Our travelers took to the water by RIB boat, weaving through steep fjord walls, passing waterfalls that tumble directly into the sea, and taking in the dramatic landscapes that make this part of Norway so remarkable. Along the way, there was time for local stories, time ashore, and time together surrounded by views that kept changing with every turn.
This is the beauty of exploring Norway by water: the cliffs, villages, waterfalls, and moments of connection all become part of the same extraordinary day.

There’s something magical about summer in Copenhagen.
Long days, blue skies, walking tours through the city, and the simple joy of spending time together before the pace of a journey picks up.
These moments may seem small, but they’re often the ones we remember most. The conversations, the laughter, the familiar faces, and the new friendships beginning to take shape.
A beautiful day in a beautiful city.

Looking through these photos, it’s hard not to picture yourself there.
Watching elephants move across the Masai Mara at sunrise. Standing quietly among Rwanda’s mountain gorillas. Sharing stories over dinner after a day that somehow felt both extraordinary and grounding all at once.
These moments were captured during our 2026 Kenya & Rwanda journey, and the good news is that this experience isn’t over.
We’re returning in 2027, and if you’ve ever been drawn to incredible wildlife, meaningful cultural experiences, and exploring alongside a welcoming LGBTQ+ community, we’d love to have you join us.
Sometimes all it takes is one photo to realize a journey has been calling to you all along.
Join us in Kenya & Rwanda in 2027.

Another Source Story, as we continue celebrating 25 years of Source Journeys.
For decades, there was one place George knew he needed to see: Abu Simbel. He had traveled to Egypt before and experienced many of its wonders, but this one destination remained unfinished. Years later, when Source Journeys announced Egypt, he immediately said yes.
For George, Abu Simbel was never simply another landmark. As a lifelong preservationist and champion of Miami Beach’s Art Deco District, he was deeply moved by the fact that the world had once come together to save this extraordinary temple, relocating it stone by stone so future generations could continue to stand before it in awe.
When he finally arrived, decades after first dreaming about it, it was more than a destination. It was the completion of a circle.
Stories like George’s remind us that some places call to us for years before we ever arrive. And sometimes, the greatest gift of travel is finally answering that call.

Some destinations are defined by a single landmark or experience.
Morocco is not one of them.
From ancient medinas and vibrant marketplaces to desert camps beneath the stars and conversations with local artisans, it’s a journey that continues to reveal itself in unexpected ways. One day might be spent wandering the winding streets of Fez, while the next brings a camel ride into the Sahara or a quiet afternoon in a hidden courtyard.
It’s a country of remarkable contrasts, rich traditions, and genuine hospitality.
