What Dianne ate and when she ate it was just as important as how she trained. And her results prove it.

Food timing and proper nutrition are two of the most underrated pieces of the fat loss puzzle, especially after 40 when your hormones, metabolism, and recovery all depend on getting them right.

If you want a copy of her exact meal plan, comment "MEAL PLAN DIANNE" and I'll send it straight to you.

For years, I’ve broken down form, posture, and setup.

Now it’s your turn to put what you have learned and what you know to the test.

Here’s your challenge:

πŸ‘‰ Watch the video closely
πŸ‘‰ Study my setup, posture, legs, weights...
πŸ‘‰ Tell me what needs to be fixed

Do not just glance at it. Really look. Where is the tension going? What would you cue first? What small adjustment would change the entire feel of the movement?

Drop your answer in the comments.

Can we all agree to leave "dress your age" back in 1987? πŸ˜‚

Some of you have worked your butt off to lose the weight, build the muscle, and feel confident again...

..and you're still standing in front of your closet asking, "Am I too old to wear this?"

Girl.

Wear the crop top.

Wear the fitted dress.

Wear the shorts.

Show the stomach you've been doing planks, meal prepping, and saying no to margaritas for. πŸ˜‚

Who decided that the older we get, the more fabric we're supposed to wear?

Because I'm not buying it.

We grew up watching our moms cover up because they were told that's what women of a certain age were supposed to do.

Respectfully...

We're not doing that.

Who's with me? πŸ™Œ Comment "ME" if this is the summer you're wearing the outfit instead of waiting for permission.

Lateral step ups done right are one of the best single leg glute builders in your program. Done wrong, they're just controlled falling.

Two things to fix immediately. Stop dropping into the descent and stop pushing off your back leg. Both take the work completely away from the glute you're trying to build.

Instead drive through your heel, chest up, core braced, knee tracking over your toe. And control the way down just as intentionally as the drive up.

That's where the real muscle building happens.

Comment "FORM" and make sure your step ups are actually building what you came for.

You're probably seeing Ozempic and GLP-1 posts every time you open social media.

And listen... I actually think they're incredible tools for the right person.

But they weren't on my path.

As a natural Figure competitor and fitness coach, I knew there had to be another way.

What surprised me wasn't what I had to learn...

It was what I had to unlearn.

Here's what changed everything:

βœ”οΈ I stopped training every day. I went from spending hours in the gym to training just 4 days a week. (I know... my gym girls understand how painful that first rest day feels. πŸ˜‚)

βœ”οΈ I stopped living in a calorie deficit. Instead, I started eating in a caloric surplus to support muscle growth rather than constantly trying to lose weight.

βœ”οΈ I optimized my hormones. After bloodwork showed my estrogen and testosterone had dropped to almost zero, I worked with my doctor to create a hormone replacement plan.

βœ”οΈ I simplified my nutrition. I eat many of the same meals over and over because it makes life easier, keeps me consistent, and helps my body digest and utilize my nutrition more efficiently.

βœ”οΈ I stopped chasing exhaustion. I started focusing on building muscle with quality training instead of trying to burn as many calories as possible.

Once I stopped fighting my body and started supporting it, everything changed.

Comment "COACH" and find out if the reason you are not seeing the progress you want is that you need to unlearn some habits.

A good morning is a hip hinge NOT a forward fold or a lower back workout.

When you hinge incorrectly you dump into your lower back and end up sore in all the wrong places with nothing to show for it.

Instead, push your hips back like you're trying to close a car door with your glutes. Keep your shins mostly vertical, your spine long, and your core braced.

When you hinge correctly you'll feel your hamstrings load up like a stretched rubber band and your glutes switch on immediately.

Done right, good mornings build thick hamstrings, strong glutes, and a posterior chain that actually looks defined.

Comment "FORM" and let's make sure every lift you do is building something worth building.

If your lat pulldowns feel more like an arm workout than a back workout, this is exactly why.

The fix starts before the pull even begins. Focus on your scapular retraction first. Feel your shoulder blades engage and your lats activate before you start moving the bar.

That mind-muscle connection is what tells your lats they're supposed to be the primary mover in this exercise.

Your lats are one of the most powerful muscles in your upper body. Make sure they're actually showing up to do their job.

Comment "FORM" and make sure your lat pulldowns are building the back you want.

Okay... that difference was pretty obvious. πŸ˜‚

Now let's level things up.

Do you know which muscles each grip targets?

Take your best guess in the comments. I promise, nobody gets better by staying quiet.

Just because you've been training for years doesn't automatically mean your mechanics are perfect.

And that's okay.

Most women aren't performing a sumo squat incorrectly because they don't care. They're doing it because their body has learned to compensate over time.

If your adductors are underdeveloped, your hamstrings are tight, your hips lack mobility, or one side is stronger than the other, your body will naturally recruit the muscles that are strongest. That's exactly why the movement starts to change without you even realizing it.

Your body will always choose the easiest way to complete the exercise. Unfortunately, that doesn't always mean it's the best way to build muscle.

As a coach, one of my jobs is identifying where your body is compensating and helping you restore the movement so the muscles you're trying to build are actually doing the work.

Don't let your ego convince you that because you've been lifting for years, there's nothing left to learn.

The strongest lifters I know are the ones who are constantly refining their technique.

Comment "FORM" if you want to make sure your sumo squat is building the muscles you think it's building.
