Signs of heat stroke = Medical emergency 🆘
• High body temperature
• Confusion or disorientation
• Agitation or restlessness
• Slurred speech
• Difficulty walking / bad balance
• Seizures
• Unusual behavior
• Rapid heartbeat
• Low blood pressure
If you are having any of these symptoms, cal 911. Place the patient in a cool environment. Remove extra clothing. Place ice over the neck, groin, and armpits and go to the nearest ER.
Do not try to hydrate or force a person to drink fluids if they’re not conscious or alert.
