This sponsorship holds an especially meaningful place in our hearts this year as we remember John Theriot
From the very beginning, Uncle John believed in this tournament and, more importantly, he believed in us. When this event was nothing more than an idea with hopes of becoming something special, John stepped up. He supported us, encouraged us, and took genuine pride in watching this tournament grow year after year. His generosity was incredible, but his belief in what we were trying to build meant even more.
We wish more than anything that Uncle John could be with us. His presence will be deeply missed on October 24th, but his impact will be felt throughout the entire day. This tournament is better because John Theriot was a part of it, and we will never forget that.
That makes it even more special to have Jonathan Stoltz, Jason Schellhaas, Joshua Stoltz, and the entire Malcolm M. Dienes team continue that commitment. For them to step up and carry on the support that meant so much to John — and to all of us — is something we are incredibly grateful for. It says a lot about the people behind Malcolm M.
